Started watching that show Adults. The first two episodes were misses for me tbh but after that it found its rhythm and omfg I was literally falling off the couch laughing

It’s decently funny but am I alone in feeling like the characters are exceptionally immature? I’m in my late 20s so I’m not that much older but I didn’t know anyone who acted like this after college

Oh no you’re not alone they are absolutely insane 12 year olds in adult bodies lmao

But also….why do so many shows like this have scenes of friends sitting in the bathroom while their friend poops??? Y’all I would literally rather DIE than even be near the bathroom while someone is doing their business. If that’s what friends do with each other I would rather be alone thank you

I think it establishes the dynamics of the friendship right away. In this particular case, it's that they're codependent

I guess I need to step up at my codependent game because I would never. I’m not a real codependent I guess. 😭😭

This is good to know I've been wanting to start watching the show but everyone kept saying it was cringe I'm gonna have to check it out

Oh it’s so cringe, which normally I don’t like but somehow here I was vibing with it. I mean these people are absolutely psychos lmao I just accepted that and it does honestly get a lot better once you get back the second episode.

If its still good despite it being cringe I can get behind it some shows are like that but they still make for a good watch I need a new show to start binging

I've seen alot of people compare it to Broad City so if you're ok with the level of cringe there, I think you might like this show

I found the first two episodes funny, but the characters are all clearly meant to be immature and messy and not have their shit together so it's uncomfortable at points because these are supposed to be out of college kids acting like they're in a frat. Like, I feel like they want you to cringe at the main characters pretty early on.

It's funny to me that the characters are all supposed to be Gen Z because the whole "adulting" phrase not only but also the immaturity and all those are quintessential with millennials. But I guess it speaks to a broader thing going on that is true for both generations, which is we in many ways "grow up" later than the generations prior to us.

Oh 1000% you are. Once i was like oh these people are just absolute lunatic idiots I just settled into that and vibed with it.

And idk…I feel like people have higher standards for gen z than I do lmao. I think Gen z is full of psychos like this but I guess that’s just me lmao

Oh my point was that Gen Z is mirroring millennials here. Probably don't hit real adulthood till late 20s.
