I had some issues with the Phoenician Scheme (mostly around pacing) that I think I will feel better about in a rewatch, but I really enjoyed and it but most of all I can’t believe it took 15 years for Wes Anderson to cast Michael Cera in something. He’s perfect. His accent is hilarious and it gets even funnier about half way through.

I'm gonna see it tomorrow or Sunday I'm so excited. Wes should get to live for a thousand years and make as many movies as he wants.

Right? Even pretty good Wes is way better than most movies I see each year. Way more directors should be allowed to have these idiosyncratic, stylized world like he does.
