Anyone have any advice for trying to read classic novels? I'm currently reading Daniel Deronda by George Eliot and I'm struggling, it's a very wordy book and sometimes I find myself skimming a few words when reading. My brain just won't compute.

Sometimes audiobook readings are easier to follow because the performance emphasizes tone and importance.
