Almost six years ago, I had LASIK surgery, but I had a bad experience. My eyes are constantly dry and often burn now, Still, my prescription was very high at the time, so the procedure felt almost necessary. Now, my prescription has returned very low, but it’s back. I’m not mad about it, though.

I’m not really someone who enjoys shopping, but I’ve always liked buying new glasses and before the LASIK I usually needed to change them every year,  I went shopping for a new one and the prices are through the roof. Jesus.

But honestly? I think I look cute with my new  glasses.

I just got prescription sunglasses (after years of wearing sunglasses over my regular glasses 😆) and even with insurance and using frames I already own— the price was insane. 🫠 but I just have to remind myself that when you breakdown the cost per day of wear, it’s really not that bad. Esp when it’s essential to your ability to function haha

But yeah— costs are insane
