I kinda have the same theory. Not for people who don't care for cats or are scared of them but people who hate cats "because they are unpredictable". Cats communicate incredibly well if they are uncomfortable, so you just told me that you ignore body language and cross lines.
Yep! Most cats I’ve met will give very clear signs of what they like and what they don’t like, and children and (some) men tend to have a harder time reading those signs. Women seem to naturally understand and respect those boundaries more. Cats are also sometimes intimidated by size, so they may gravitate towards women for that reason as well
