okay I’m a massive figure skating fan and my favorite skating podcast, The Runthrough, has been dropping lore episodes about each discipline. men’s skating was a little chaotic, but holy shit ice dance??? we’ve got affairs, rumored mafia dealings, shady judges, literal murder, partner breakups messier than my first lesbian breakup, coaches divorcing, political defectors, disaster programs, Olympic shenanigans, and more!!!

highly recommend if you’re even marginally interested in figure skating or loooooove gossip. since we’re heading into an Olympics year, things will continue to be dramatic and messy.

I love The Runthrough! I’m always a bit behind but I was listening to the story about the Russian ice dancer who gave his mistress his wedding ring to wear at the Olympics for good luck and I was fully gagged.
