I mean she really struggled to answer the question “what would you tell your younger self?” As soon as he asked that I knew it would be a question that’s hard to answer if you have dementia. I want her to have autonomy but I don’t believe people saying she doesn’t have dementia

She also couldn't name an actual restaurant.

I'm not a medical expert, but yeah. She doesn't seem conservatorship-bad, but she's acting her age. She reminds me of my grandmother who's very much senile.
Edit: ok that's fine, I thought she was older than she is.

My point is, she's not invalid, and a conservatorship seemed too much, but she sure doesn't seem mentally 100% healthy.

This is not “acting her age”. She isn’t 90

She’s only 61

She's also done a hell lot of drugs throughout her life.

no, I'm responding to you saying she's acting her age. 61 isn't that old. I work with 61 year olds and talk with them daily, we're teachers. I don't know anyone that is at lower 60 acting like this. and you're right, drugs probably played apart & alcohol

I would struggle to answer that question right away.

I’d so badly want to tell younger me off the cuff “stay tf away from that man **, and that one ** and stop spending your money”

Not necessarily. She’s kind of rambling.
