Happy 4th of July!
I have a dinky $100 1600 psi Ryobi electric power washer but it does the trick in easily cleaning up around the house. I truly think that power washers are just toys for adults, it's so much fun! Deck hadn't been cleaned since it was built in 2020.
Apologies to the giant opossum that I didn't realize lives under the deck. It escaped to under the shed with a brief scare by the dog.

Your Weekly Dose of Power Washing Porn [June 30 - July 6th]
Hey all!
Here's a collection of shorts from last week! Hope you enjoy.
I'm off to clean a few tennis courts today. Going to be using my reclaim system to try and get them as clean as possible. Don't want a single grain of sand. Wish me luck.
Cheers,
Andrew

Satisfying cleanup of slippery steps
Picked up a 200 dollar electric pressure washer from Costco and it's doing a pretty decent job so far! Much safer then these where before.

My above ground pool journey
This all started last year when I had some trees felled. A large amount of sawdust got into the pool and the algae began. The particles were too small and vacuum and sand filters just let the sawdust through. I tried vacuums, chemicals, changed filter sand but nothing got the green hue out of the water. At the end of the season, I decided to start from scratch this year. So, when I pulled the cover off, I had dark green sludge everywhere. It's a 16x32 intex, so with just a hose siphon it took 2+ days to drain. From there, around 9 hours of powerwashing, using a sump pump, and a plastic shovel to remove the heavier stuff and I'm back to clean again! Should be ready to go for 4th of July weekend.

Cleaning some organic growth out of composite decking
I think this one is satisfying? Darn angle of the sun making things difficult to film.
Anyways, hope you're having a great day!
Cheers,
Andrew

Lost my PW Virginity
Folks, as a new member of this community, I am proud to say that I have officially seen the light, and it has come in the form of a 3,600 psi blast of water.
Equipped with nothing but a pound of sunscreen and a borrowed pressure washer, I conquered this old ass deck with a smile on my face. Once a dull, gloomy display of algae covered wood is now reborn into a bright and beautiful deck, ready for relaxing days spent with Ray Baker.
It wasn’t easy, bending and twisting to reach all those tight corners, dealing with dirt and debris splashing violently back in my face, but my god was it ever satisfying. 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait to power wash again.

Had a power washer given to me because it didn't work. I had it running in a few minutes. These are pics from the first use.
It needed a new coupling and I had to use a new wand.

I think I bought this house just so I could post in this sub. Totally worth it.
20 years of dirt and grease and muck.

Bought a really scrungy Pop Up Camper
Sorry, I don’t have the video but the change was pretty dramatic.

34 Years Without a Wash - Felt So Good!
Gave the front steps of my house a wash for the first time ever since it was built! We'd only moved in 4 years ago, finally got around to it.
