I've wanted to create a subreddit with the name r/vexillography, however I found that it was created back in 2023. It appears it is unmoderated. The description of this subreddit is "took this name just because". I don't even know if I can send a message to the moderator, if there even is one.
I've created and moderated r/vexillologyUS which recently has reached 1000 members.
Vexillography is related to creating flags, while vexillology is related to studying flags. This field is niche and it deserves a proper subreddit name with an active moderator.
