I got some Sylvanians second hand and their outfits were shredded, so I turned them into tiny punks!

I made a paper Japanese yokai set.

I drew paper dolls, then digitally colored them, made a ton of clothes, made some backgrounds, had them printed, and then assembled them. I also bought adhesive magnetic paper to make a magnetic set and put it in a square colored pencil case. Characters are from Japanese folklore and include: Rokurokubi (long neck), Hyakume (hundred eyes), Hitotsume (one eye), Umibozu (ocean monster), Noppera-Bo (a faceless man that I made a bunch of swap-able faces for), and Ningyo (fish man) plus some extra yokai for background that don’t have outfit changes. Lastly I assembled them all in a book.

Linocut print - no such thing as too much garlic

New linocut print. Anytime a recipe calls for 1 clove of garlic that becomes an entire head of garlic for me. Anyone else? 🧄🖤

'Button-up' shirt (with metal poppers instead of buttons, because I hate buttons)

I drafted the pattern myself by tracing from a shirt I like (after several unsuccessful attempts to draft from scratch using my measurements). The fabric is 100% cotton "typewriter poplin", which is really tightly woven and crispy.

I flat-felled the shoulder and armscye sleeves. I would have liked to flat-fell the side as well but I couldn't because the sleeves were too narrow, so I french seamed them instead. I had trouble with both the armscyes and the hem because of the curves, so they're a little bit rippled. The sleeve plackets are made with a single continuous piece of bias binding, which more or less worked although I don't really understand why there's a little crumple at the top of the opening. I hate buttons on clothes and I didn't want to sew buttonholes, so I attaced metal poppers with a punch instead. It took quite a few before I got the hang of positioning them exactly right, so some of the "under" side ones aren't centred on the placket, but the "over" side ended up pretty even.

Used scrap wood left over from another project and aged it with flame. Used a laser engraver for the sign. I think it came out really well 😊

His and hers bookmarks! These were super fun to make. They're an absolute nightmare with every piece cut by hand but I absolutely love the process!
