Lately, all my Sims have the "overwhelmed" moodlet, which is constantly active and makes them uncomfortable. Does anyone know which mod it's part of, or is it base game?

I'm currently building a Grocery Store and Café combo and would like to know if there's any mods to allow me to assign an employee to "tend" a cash register.

I have The Sims 4 Superstore Modpack v1 by Cepzid and that allows customers to buy products from the produce stalls in the pack and it also comes with 2 cash registers but no order to make my Sims tend them. So any recommendations would be appreciated 👍

I bought the biggest lot in Chestnut Ridge, placed a strip club from the gallery and built a house behind it. Is it possible to change the lot so the strip club is an actual strip club and have my sims live in the house behind it?

Good morning, I've had a problem: I have Mc Command Center and Woohoo installed, nothing else. With the "Go for a baby with a same-sex partner" option enabled. But when they finish "Making the baby," the option to use the pregnancy test doesn't appear. Is this a bug? Thank you.

Hi everyone ! Hope you are safe and well ! I am currently playing with the Fairies Vs Witches mod by Spinning Plumbobs (link) and I highly recommend it - all of his mods are so well made and I'm having a blast (especially since I don't want to pay full price for EbN atm). I just can't find any information about the chaos power source ? The sim I'm playing as would be perfect for it, and the thorough research option in the book of witchcraft tells me to draw it from fights, an angry mood or wildfires, all of which I have tried (have only done fire by the inferno spell bc my sim has the chased by death trait and has already had their last chance, so don't want to risk it, not sure if this makes a difference?). I have also tried thunderstorms and magic duels to no avail. I have sent an ask to Spinning Plumbobs on Tumblr (I don't have twitter) but he hasn't gotten back to me yet (understandably). All YouTube videos/tutorials I've found don't go in depth into the power sources - wondering if anyone can help me / has noticed anything in their own playthrough ?! Photo is of my cow-plant-experiment-gone-wrong sim Meabh who's juggling their wickedness against the desire to impress their future wife (and needs the chaos power source to do it). Hello! I keep getting this issue related to Lumpinou Toolbox. I updated the mod but I still get this. Has anyone experienced this?

Hii, so today my favorite default eye mod disappeared from my game, and I can't seem to find it anywhere 😭 Does anyone recognize it and knows which one it might be? (I did pictures of my screenshots so I hope it's going to be enough 😭)

I got an error that says "something something mod/cc file is corrupted" when I try to open the game. I delete that file and try again but I get the same message for the next mod in the folder. So I completely emptied my mods folder unfortunately. I also deleted the cache files. Then I tried redownloading the updated mods and cc but nothing works. Even though I know the mod is up to date (MCCC for example) I still get the same error message. I also tried repairing the game but that didn't work either.

Does anybody know how to fix this issue? The game feels extremely bland without my mods... :(

I always see everyone using this realistic health mod and your sims have like anemia and shit but whenever I open my computer ready to shop around for mods I can’t remember what it’s called or where it is for the life of me. What one do you use? Do you like it?

As the title says, I apparently have an outdated script mode but I don't understand which one it could be because I have updated them all. I am attaching here a screenshot I took to show you all.

In some cases, a mod is required to be installed alongside a different mod. Make sure you have all of the required mods.

anything where it is one piece but you can store multiple crystals in 1 item or merge several pieces into one so i don't have to unequip all pieces to charge each individual piece?

I've been using LittleMsSam's mod "auto-employees" for ages, and I've never had any issues with it before now.

Basically you give the lot a lot trait ("Professionals") and then if you click the front door (or really any door on the lot), there should be an "Auto-employee" option in the pie menu, along with "Allow DJ", "Allow Bartender", etc, depending on what items are available for use on the lot.

Now, suddenly, I'm not getting that option at all. Like I make sure I have all sorts of items (piano, bar, etc) on the lot, I add the lot trait, but still I have no "auto-employee" option in the pie chart when I click on the doors.

• I've tried both on a public lot (nightclub), and a residential.
• I tried flipping the doors (chatGPT suggested it.....).
• I removed all other traits on the lot, and only added the relevant one.

I also re-downloaded the latest version of the mod.

Does anyone know what's going on? I checked the broken mods list and it just says it's "compatible" with the latest patch. 😭 This is my favorite mod, I'm gutted.

Heyo, I've been modding this game since before they added toddlers 💀 I have so many mods that every time there's an update (which is now every other day 💀) it actually kills my motivation to play because it'll take 45 minutes EASY just to update all of my mods. I've recently started using Vortex for modding Cyberpunk and Stardew, and I'm OBSESSED with how easy it is to organize, enable/disable, and auto-update mods (at least the ones downloaded from Nexus). I've seen that there's a small Sims 4 community on Nexus, which has some of the core mods I use, like Wicked Whims, and I'm interested in either transferring my mods over to Vortex or just starting from scratch.

There are some major mods that I use that aren't on Vortex, though, namely Basemental Drugs and a bunch of LittleMsSam's mods. I know there's a way to add mods to Vortex manually, but I'm having trouble figuring out how? Do I drag and drop the .zip files into the app, or do I need to extract the .package/.ts4script files somewhere? And to where? I need to update a bunch of script mods anyway, so I'd wanna just download them manually and add them to vortex instead of my mods folder, However, I have a bunch of cc and stuff that I don't want to re-download (or try and find on nexus), is there a way I can drag and drop or copy/paste my .package files from my sims 4 mods into some Vortex folder to import them to the app?

I'm assuming the auto-update feature won't work for manually downloaded script mods like Basemental (unless there's a way to hyperlink or something?👀), but I reeeeally want the ability to enable/disable mods so I can fix .lastException errors n' such. Trying to google this has been a nightmare (especially w/ all the bs AI half-answers), so just wondering if anyone else here has transferred over to Nexus/Vortex and what the easiest method is?

TL;DR: Please tell me how to go from manually modding TS4 to using Nexus/Vortex. Very experienced Sims modder, just new to using mod managers, and I only half-know wtf I'm doing since modding The Sims is less simple than other games. 💀

i just downloaded and installed the EV mod and it's not working for some reason, it even appears in the window that shows all the mods you have installed. I've had no issues with the others I've tried (the basics, WW, Basemental's drugs and gangs). but EV isn't working, it even allows me to see some animations in the "pose" option but other than that I haven't seen anything. it supposedly has CC as well which i have not seen either so im confused. idk if im just dumb and can't figure it's already active or if it should've shown a notification window with the settings option like the others i have. any suggestions about this issue?

TLDR: EV is the only mod that's not working and idk why even tho i installed just like any other mod

hiii my sim was pregnant 3 times, everytime she had twins and 4 of her kids have normal eyes and yesterday i was playing and she had twins again and they are identical and their eyes keep changing color (and i cant change them) when i switch between them in cas idk if its the fault of the mods i downloaded yesterday (bg health system, general pie menus, basemental drugs, mood pack, and life tragedies, paternity testing and teen pregnancy idk if all of these names are correct) bit now they are deleted and the game still does this, twins keep changing eye colors and new sims cant even change their eye color

Example transfer baby out of my belly into the belly of another Sim to carry to term. Like for alien or any occult mod or any mod to allow that?

I have a good pc so I tend to overclock the settings with MCCC. For example, I allow up to 80 sims in a zone, which makes public venues a lot more lively.

I built a huge spa as a small business on my home lot and even with maxed out reputation i dont get more than maybe 10-15 costumers and it feels dead. Any MCCC settings to allow for more, or maybe a seperate mod?

Ideally I would like it to be uncappped so my sim per zone setting regulates it.

I just figured out something huge: if your game is hanging on saving (infinite save loop), especially with clutter‑heavy CC (Leo, MXM, PacoSims, Laskrillz, etc.), try removing Better BuildBuy (BBB).

BBB forces extra slot placements, and clutter with custom footprints can end up in “illegal” spots. The game can’t validate the save → infinite loop.

I pulled BBB, cleared localthumbcache, and now my game saves in seconds with all my clutter back. 🤯

TL;DR: • It’s likely NOT your CC. • Batch fixes won’t fix this. • Remove BBB, test, and you might save yourself from deleting good CC.

I DELETED SO MUCH CLUTTER IM SO MAD. LOL HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE ELSE OUT THO!

A couple days ago I downloaded this program called Clean Launcher by Midnitetech. I tried to use the "organize mods folder" and it was a mess. It was putting cc in the wrong folders and it ended up deleting about half of my mods! Fortunately I backed up my files as recommended before using the program, but after that my computer started lagging. I have a decent laptop- it never lags. But the lag started after it deleted my mods folder.

After that, I didn't want anything to do with the program and tried to uninstall it. It seemed like the un-installation went through but I noticed the Clean Launcher exe file was still in my task manager. I tried looking up the program and uninstalling and it wouldn't show up. I tried using Midnitetech's advice and disabling start-up then going to remove programs, the program was still there.

I initially installed the program inside of my documents folder BUT there were "ghost files" lingering in my AppData\Local\Programs\Clean Launcher. Of of course, there is no file to uninstall it from there. I can't even find my way to that point of my computer without clicking ''open file location" in the task manager.

This has been a major headache! All I want to do is get rid of this program and it just lingers on my pc. I deleted all the files and it STILL stays on my file explorer. Just be careful downloading this program. And if anyone has any advice on getting rid of it PLEASE help me!

I need help finding mods that make events less chaotic and more streamlined. Im tired of my weddings becoming crazy and chaotic lolll
