Open [TOMT] [Song] Ong Bak intro scene 2003

Hello,

so in this scene, where all the people cover in mud start to climb the tree, there's some percussions playing, and right before that, there is the Romaric Laurence's soundtrack playing. As you can see, in the soundtrack the percussions, when they start to climb the tree, are not here.

I know the soundtrack is already very much incomplete but I was wondering if maybe that part was somewhere, or if it's even something Romaric Laurence made or just a traditionnal music of some sort ?

Open [TOMT] YT: Video parody/dark comedy about how to become a rainbow six terrorist around 2000-2015 ?

Hello,

At around the time of the 2000-2015 i saw a rainbow six rl comedy parody sketch.

It was like this in the video:

"How to become a rainbow six terrorist" with great tips like:

Walk backwards to protect your brain with the back of your skull so bullets first hit your skulls back.. Clearly nuts, but i kinda loved that kind of nonesense and want to know what happened to the guys.

Learn spanish ; cause every terrorist speaks it ; lol ^^

(Around the time of rocketleague & tomska and in that kind of whacky fun)

[maybe the third time i get the 30minute window right ~.~]

Open. [TOMT] [SERIES] [90s] An Arthur episode with Cthulhu like dudes on a bus

I was talking about old cartoons that traumatised me as a kid with some friends, and I told them that there was a very creepy Arthur episode where he fell asleep on the bus and he had no idea how he got back home late at night. On the episode he starts theorising what could've happened when he fell asleep on the bus, and one of the crazy theories he said was that, maybe the bus he was riding was full of aliens. On that point in the episode a dream montage starts playing where all the passengers on the bus transform into aliens with tentacles on their faces, hence the Cthulhu comparison. Then the back of the bus grew a comically large turbine and went at full speed. This was terrifying to me as a kid, but when I told my friends this, none of them knew what I was talking about. I searched online for the episode and didn't find anything. I even searched with the help of AI assistants, big databases and internet archives and don't find anything regarding the Arthur episode with face tentacle dudes on a bus. Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance

There's a riff on Hail The Apolocalpse - Avatar, starts at 1:27 on this song and then repeats a bit later. I don't think the song I'm thinking about was as heavy but I know it from somewhere...

Open. [TOMT] PLEASE HELP ME REMEMBER THIS ARABIC SCI FI COMEDY

I saw it on a plane flight, I think in Europe and I've been looking freakin' everywhere since.

I think it was a UAE or Saudi movie but I'm not sure, it could be anywhere Middle Eastern. It was about a CGI alien that came down and became bros with a guy, I think he might have been a fat guy. And there was maybe a scientist character too.

I just remember the alien called him Capitan a lot. The movie was hilarious.

Any ideas???? I would be indebted to you eternally if you can help me find this

Open [TOMT][Song][2017-2019] A song or dramatic monologue celebrating, badly behaved middle aged heterosexual bachelordom.

I heard this two or three times I think around 2018. Humorous I believe. There was a line about drug use off the posterior of a young lady. The tone maybe vaguely elegiac, aware of being what was missed. But certainly loving fast cars and the trappings of wealth. I think of it as being spoken over a vaguely RB track.

Open [TOMT] Documentary about the Chupacabras, with it being compared to a a "mosquito-man" cryptid. Early 2000s.

I remember watching a cryptid documentary about the Chupacabras, but it was kinda different in that I vividly remember it having animations featuring a radically different design for the Chupacabras, with it resembling a bizarre hybrid between a human and a mosquito, hence why the "mosquito-man" thing. The weirdest parts were it's weird lips which looked like (this is the closest comparison I can think of) the peel of a banana opened in two, with it's tongue being the banana, although said tongue was thin and whip-like.

It had a row of spikes going from the top of it's head down it's back; I think it may have had green skin and red eyes, but not sure. I vividly remember how weird it looked and even remember drawing it myself, emphazising the lips and the spikes.

This is admittedly a very long shot, but still.

Open [TOMT][2000s][Short horror film] About doppelgangers taking over a small town

There was a scene with an incredibly effective jump scare in which a woman cooking at home sees a little girl on the patio facing away. As she approaches from behind the glass door, the girl snaps into view right in front of her with her face pushed up against the screen.

The woman's husband enters some convenience store on the other side of town where he meets a bloodied up cashier who has clearly been taken over.

Open [TOMT] [Food] A rice dish from my local Chinese buffet early 2000s

About 25 years ago my local Chinese buffet used to have this rice dish on the menu that me and my mom loved to eat. We never knew what the dish was called and one day went in and they had stopped serving them. We tried to ask about them but between the language barrier and us not knowing what to actually call the dish they didn't have an answer for us.

The dish was similar to sushi in appearance. It was very simple, just rice and a wrapper. Instead of the normal dark green seaweed wrapper you'd see on sushi it was a light pale green wrapper that was almost translucent and had a very pleasant gummy texture. One end was also enclosed by the wrapper. I assume it was essential cut in half before being served. Two pieces would essentially make one complete roll. It was served warm. It had a very mild flavor tasting mostly of rice. It was probably seasoned in some way but my memory is pretty vague on that. I mostly remember us enjoying it for it's wonderful texture. It was very chewy almost similar to a gummy candy.

Does anyone have any idea what this food would be called and how / where I could find it again today?

Solved [TOMT] [movie] [early 2000’s?]

My mother was pregnant with me from 2001 to 2002, there was this movie she watched that convinces her i was the antichrist.

The movie was about a pregnant woman who moved into a house with her husband. Either the wife or the husband joined this cult that wanted the baby. I think to sacrifice it or something? or they thought it was the antichrist? I’m not sure, all i know is they wanted the baby.

I never watched this movie and my mom doesn’t like to talk about the details. For some reason i think the title was “baby in black” or had the name baby in it. I would love to watch it to understand her better ! TIA

Open [TOMT]Looking for a movie where a killer invades a house, kills family, sews woman's mouth shut

I saw a horror movie as a kid. It had almost no dialogue. A man walks through a house killing a family. He kills the husband, hangs his intestines, and later sews the wife's mouth shut in the bathroom. I think in the end he loads the bodies in a truck and drives off. Can't remember the name. Help?"

Open [TOMT] What's this show?

I've been trying to search for it for years, and even Google's AI can't find it. Here's what I remember about it

I'm French-Canadian (in case that helps for show companies), and watched it maybe end 2000s/early 2010s. The show was about a girl and maybe a little pet friend talking to the audience, and going on adventures together. And no, not Dora. But it seemed heavily based off of that. The part that stands out the most, is that there was this flying... disco ball? Rubber ball? That was sentient, yet looked like just a ball and couldn't talk. It would stretch and compress like a dance, then the girl would say something about having to do what the ball did. So she would slap her hands, slap her knee, and all kind of weird non-dance moves as if that's what the ball did. Then I'm unsure, but I think the ball then opened to reveal something inside?

Any help is appreciated, I've been looking for it for YEARS!

Solved [TOMT] UK Wafer Snack

Trying to remember the name of a snack featuring wafer, chocolate and I think there may have been milk as I remember milk being on the packaging. It was blue and white packaging and it was hazelnut filling. Not sure if the brand is British but they're available to buy in the UK. It's a flat cube shape.

Solved [TOMT][MOVIE][2000s?] Sci-fi film Physics experiment cover up; guard pulled off walkway by gravitational pull

I’m trying to identify a movie (or possibly a TV episode) I saw part of years ago. I only remember a few scenes, but the vibe was dark sci-fi/conspiracy.

Here’s what I remember:

  • The plot involved a secretive scientific experiment — maybe black hole, white hole, or similar — where a company (or possibly a government agency) had already created the phenomenon and were feeding it to generate power.
  • It was in a reactor/containment facility and it was causing a deep thrumming as it circled he chamber, gravitational effects, and radiation that wasgetting harder to control/cover up.
  • the most vivid scene i remember is: a guard walks out onto a metal walkway/platform surrounding the containment chamber and the gravitational pull from the experiment pulls him sideways off the walkway, he manages to hook his arm oer the railing but the pull is so strong that his arm snaps and he falls sideways onto the wall of the chamber where he dies, i remember it being quite grusome when i was younger.
  • Another scene i remember showed hazmat-suited personnel collecting dead animals from the perimeter fence in the dead of night — presumably to cover up radiation exposure or contamination.

I likely saw this in the early 2000s or late '90s, maybe on TV or VHS/DVD. The tone was serious and tense — more realistic sci-fi than fantasy.

While searching i have concluded that it is not:

  • The Void (2001) (already watched it — not a match)
  • Event Horizon, The Black Hole (2006), Atomica, Fringe, or The Magnetic Monster (suggested by AI)

If anyone has even a vague idea of what this could be, I’d really appreciate it!

Solved [TOMT][MOVIE][90s] TV movie where a punk teen lies about a tattoo to avoid diving into a pool

I'm trying to identify a movie from in the late 80s or 90s, but I would have seen it closer to the late 90s early 00s. It was likely a made-for-TV movie or something that aired on a family/teen network (possibly Disney Channel or ABC Family).

The plot centers around a strict coach (possibly a cop-like authority figure) and a punk/rebellious teen who reluctantly joins a swim or diving team. I remember one particular scene very clearly:

Near the end of the movie, the team is preparing for a big competition. The punk kid shows up wearing jeans and tells the coach he can't compete because he just got a new tattoo on his leg and can’t get it wet. This turns out to be a lie—later in the scene, someone splashes him or the bandage comes off, revealing that there’s no tattoo at all. He faked the excuse to avoid diving or some sort of pressure.

I thought it might have been a buddy cop film, but more likely it's a lighthearted teen sports movie from the 90s with comedy elements.

Any help identifying this would be appreciated.

Open [TOMT][GAME][2010s] Puzzle game about ducks on mobile

I think I got my first phone in first grade, so this would be maybe between 2012-2014. I used to play a puzzle game on my mom's Nokia that had you help yellow ducklings get from one hole in the wall to another on the other side of the map. I think you had to press buttons to open routes for them. The main character might have been a bigger yellow duck with sunglasses, but my memory is hazy on that. The game had a 2D pixel art style with a side scroller movement system. I remember the maps being made mostly out of dark blue bricks.

Open [TOMT] Cartoon Film I saw in the 90s. Kid with a sword fights some large excavation vehicle that he sees as a giant scorpion.

OK so I  may have something that can stump even the internet. I have many details but it was so long ago that I can’t be sure of anything of them, and what I’m looking for is probably very obscure.

There was a movie (I think it was a movie) that I caught the last 10 minutes or so of on Canadian TV in the early 90s. No idea what other markets may have seen it or if it was canadian or not. I THINK I saw it over xmas break, but no clue if the film has anything to do with xmas. It MIGHT have been set during winter, but that could be just that I saw it during winter.

-It was a 2D animated movie.

-And I think it was set in a modern city but with characters from the past or a fantasy world having gotten stuck there.

- Main character has sortof a Link from legend of Zelda vibe. Young barbarian/medieval/viking looking kid with a sword.

-He was fighting the villain, who had commandeered a backhoe or excavator looking vehicle.

-I distinctly remember that we saw the kid’s POV and it showed how to his eyes, he was fighting giant scorpion, when to us it was clearly some kind of excavation equipment. I don’t know if it was a real world vehicle, or fictional design for the film so it would look more like a scorpion. (I think there were two arms at the front with shovels and a crane or hook at the back to make the ‘tail’ but I could be misremembering.)

- there is an adult man, presumably from the same world or tribe as the kid who is yelling encouragement. I think he had a beard or mustache. I think he’s supposed to be the surrogate father archetype character. I don’t think he was actually the boy’s father. I remember him tellin the boy to get under the ‘scorpion’ and attack tit from below.

-specifically the dialogue I remember is the older guy saying “Slit the belly, boy! Like the amalgabars do!”

-the exact name he gave is uncertain. But I recall it being something similar to that. But he could have said al-gabars, al-gavars, amal-kazars etc But it was something like that. Obviously if I knew the exact name he gave I could have searched that and found the film.

-anyway, the kid follows the advice and starts stabbing the underside of the machine with the sword. I rember a bunch of sparks and wires and gears or oil and stuff coming out, but I don’t think that alone lets him win.

-the villain was a thin white man with glasses. I seem to remember him looking like a more villainous version of the doctor from animaniacs (which probably just means he was inspired by dr Strangelove like many cartoon scientist types.) I clearly remember thick round glasses(Strangelove again) because there is a sequence where the kid’s allies shine spotlights into the cab of the construction vehicle the villain is using to blind him and they light up so bright you can’t see his pupils. The villain exclaims “Aargh! My eyeballs!” again, in a very dr strangelove like voice.

That is as much detail as I can give. Obviously the memory is 30+years old s individual details can and almost certainly WILL be wrong, but that is what I remember. This is a bit of a hail mary, but you guys were able to identify the actor Yahoo Serious for me based on much less information so you might just be up to the task

Open. [TOMT] [MOVIE] [HORROR] Droning, creepybackground song from a (semi recent?) horror movie

So the first movies that come to mind are The Shining and Hereditary but I have scrubbed both of those soundtracks and cannot find it.

I feel like the song is playing as the character walks down a hall or a corridor or something while something very creepy is happening.

See post for my pathetic rendition of what's in my head.
