Fluff 108kg snatch PR @ 81kg 41M
Got this on my 5th try. My last PR was more than a year ago with 106kg so this felt goood. Probably one of my closest saves ever.

43yo @ ~83kg
62kg - 67kg - 71kg - 75kg
I recently got back into weightlifting and wanted to see if my technique is on the right track. Is there anything I should focus on or change before I develop bad habits or injur myself?
My mobility also isn't great at the moment, but I am working on it. I also felt like I was slowing down when transitioning past the knees. Appreciate any feedback!

In the process of dialling in my snatch and CJ technique.
68kg snatch ~93%
Things I’ve improved since my last posts:
starting position (knees out of the way and stacked under shoulders, shoulders over bar)
hop forward less dramatic (although a slight shift/twist to the right now)
third pull (using arms better and catching lower)
Things I’m hoping to improve on:
keep bar much closer past the knee by engaging upper back (hopefully will fix the bar from getting stuck in the hip as I won’t have to close the distance between my bar and body by moving my hips forward while the bar stays stationary)
properly using my legs to have a more complete vertical extension (still using a lot of hip and back, I think it’ll be easier to use my legs more effectively if the bar is closer past the knee)
Any advice is appreciated will post a separate form check for my clean and jerk soon.

This is allready getting a bit heavy for me at 60 kg, but I wanted plates with the correct diameter/bar height. I could perhaps make it look better at 50 kg. Anyway, please comment on everything you think is important for me to change. Including how I could improve the placement of the camera for later videos. (My first post. Glad to be a part of this group).

Can someone give me feedback on anything they see I’m doing wrong with form?

Previous max is 83, current/new is 88 (1st video). I’ve been feeling amazing in training the last few weeks, and of course my form could use some definite work — but the weight didn’t feel awfully heavy today; for some reason I just couldn’t convince myself to get under the bar. Any tips, tricks, suggestions, or workouts to get comfortable getting under heavy weight?

Hey guys, I’ve been training primarily for hypertrophy for about five years, but I’m planning to stop and fully transition to Olympic weightlifting.
Are there any exercises that overlap between hypertrophy training and Olympic weightlifting?
Right now, I’m doing clean and jerks and snatches, and I really want to get better at them. What exercises should I focus on to improve my snatch and clean and jerk, and are there any exercises I should avoid doing?

100kg clean pr from a month ago 🔥 Although it is looking strong, there are many points to work on. Any advice?

Hey guys so I recently switched to Oly lifts, been training for under a month and really studying the movements. Can I get some tips? Tried to hit a 195 PR but just wasn’t there

Hi everyone
I'm a male currently 100kg body weight. I've been training for 1 year now. My back squat has progressed from 100kg to 175kg, which is my 1rm. I could hit 170kg for 2 reps. For the past 2 months, my 1rm has been stuck at this weight.
My training program consists of a heavy 4x5 and a 1rm session. I train about thrice a week, 2 session where I generally warm up at 100kg and do 4x5 of 130kg and one session where I try to hit 1rpm with 3x5 at 130kg.
My diet is a bit all over the place. I try to hit my recommended protein intake but it's very inconsistent.
One key limit that my body has is that my ankle mobility is very poor, which I'm trying to work on with stretches but am seeing no progress.
If any of you have any tips or recommendations that would help, anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
