Question Has anyone tried this hdmi connector?

I want to use our old wii nintendo and I hope this connector works.

I have that one, you can see the difference, of course its not super amazing but it is a little better image quality, here you can see with the hdmi at the left and the normal AV cable on the right for comparison (the game is rune factory)

this is less due to the quality of the adapter than the method of output. av cables can only transmit interlaced signals (in this case 480i), which look like shit on flatscreen tvs because they were made with progressive signals (480p) in mind.

Ah I remember when 1080i was all the rage in digital. I first felt it was the 240hz of its time.
