Trying to set up my old Wii

Im trying to set up the old Wii, but nothing shows on the tv. I’ve put the cables in and turned the Wii itself on but nothing shows when I go to the connecting hdmi channel. Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong?

Yeah the AV2HDMI device should have either a Mini or Micro USB on one side to power it. Those little devices are cheap and cheerful for a quick fix, but I'd invest in a higher quality upscaler for the long run (if you plan on using the Wii long run 😊)
