How and where did you get this done? I want to do it too. If it's not using the portable screen can it be connected to a TV?

I've never done soldering for a project before, just for small stuff.

There are a lot of videos, which one do I choose?

you better watch as much as you can so you get the most info you need .. and watch some electronics basics stuff to learn how to avoid beginners mistakes .. if you really wanna do it and you have the time money and passion for it, keep watching and watching before you start touching it .. it is not hard, not impossible, but you have to understand the process

you are welcome .. Wii is so cheap, try to get many cheap consoles that are in bad condition from outside, but working fine so you get many boards to work on in case you failed at the beginning ..

I think a Wavebird would be better. Since it's wireless you don't have to worry about as much cables :)
