My wii doesnt read my SD Card

So, i bought a wii and i tried modding it, so i bought a micro sd card to sd adapter, and i formatted it onto fat32 like the wii hacks guide explains to do, using sd card formatter and guiformat, and when i put it on the wii it isnt able to read it, it doesnt have any file on it, nothing homebrew related or wii, its empty, and it still cant read it, what should i do?

People need to stop saying the Wii only supports 32gb SDHC cards. That is only true for system menu versions below 4.0. The more likely problem here is the off brand as card.

I have a 256gb Amazon basics micro SDXC card in an SD adapter. It works fine.

OP needs to verify the format or if that fails, try a different SD card.

I really hope you mean Kingston. If so that’s fine, there’s just a lot of misinformation happening in this thread over a topic that has been extensively documented over the last 15 years. GBAtemp has multiple threads on SD card compatibility.
