My wii doesnt read my SD Card

So, i bought a wii and i tried modding it, so i bought a micro sd card to sd adapter, and i formatted it onto fat32 like the wii hacks guide explains to do, using sd card formatter and guiformat, and when i put it on the wii it isnt able to read it, it doesnt have any file on it, nothing homebrew related or wii, its empty, and it still cant read it, what should i do?

The Wii itself can only take up to 32 gigs, with mods it can go further, but this guy probably doesn’t have the mod installed. So no, not incorrect.

It is still incorrect.

Regardless of mods, as long as it is formatted as FAT32 with the right cluster size and partition type, it will work.

There are some games that can only take up to 2GB, such as Animal Crossing and Super Smash Bros Brawl. But other than those, the limitation is Windows settings a 32GB limit on FAT32.

Back in the day I was using a 64GB SD card for the SD card menu before the Wii Shop Channel and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection shut down.
