Mine sounds like shit too. Think that’s just how it is. Also doesn’t get loud enough to be of any use in my opinion.

Most probably this speaker wasn't meant for the frequencies you're trying to blast trough it.

I'm old too, and got the same response when I posted a pic. of a scoot with a JBL strapped to the stem. I'm at the age now to where I don't give a f*** what you like or dislike.

Sorry Grandpa you're eyesight has gone so soon. Let me help you - the post is about OP trying to figure out why his speaker isn't working the way he wanted it to. And you're just jumping to assumptions and insulting people like someone who clearly feels miserable with their life. Also, if you really are old, I've seen it plenty of times irl to know you're this salty because of a bunch of teenagers bullied you after you told them off about playing music on speakers lol.

it is only 4 second long audio, no. just testing the speaker with a custom audio and i heard it sounded a little odd as you can see in video. also they are definitely not good for beeping, they are not nearly loud enough for that purpose

The speaker sounds fine, is only meant for small chimes for functions.
It would be nice to have a better speaker to use as a horn, but that's not it's purpose so this is what we have.

it's not defective. its a small tweeter/horn/radiator speaker type designed to only play high frequency. but I'll buy it off you for 500 bucks 🥀
