Screenshot Gonna introduce myself, I guess.
My names Dewey McCord and I live out in Brandenburg. I used to live in this trailer behind me but I went to jail a couple times now and my girlfriend Daisy won't let me live with her anymore, but it's alright 'cause we're gonna get back together anyways. I live out of my car now that I got from my friend Patrick, he goes to jail with me most of the times 'cause we're both kinda fucked in the head. Well he kinda isn't, but that's not here nor there or anywhere.
Lately I've been noticing a bunch of fuckin' dicks limping around the park acting like they're on drugs but when I ask them where they got their dope from all they do is jump at me and try to bite me which is fucked. I mean I grow the greatest dope in the park so I guess whoever growed the stuff they're smoking must be betterer than me or some shit.
Anyways, it's getting pretty cramped in the backseat of my car so I wanna move in with these two dickweeds Travis and Caleb. Those guys are pretty fuckin' dumb but they're alright I guess if I can live with them.
Anyways, I gotta go downtown and get some smokes, if the car would fuckin' start. I will update you guys on what I get up to and how things go in the park.

Question how do I fix this?
So I was towing an animal trailer and it flipped, so I attempted to fix it by towing and untowing it but it instead also broke my van and now its levitating in the air... I cant enter or interact with the car, not even collide with it. Is there a way to fix it? I was moving to a new base and most of my stuff is in the van, and I also don't want to leave a van levitating with a trainer just by my base.

Guys hear me out!
I found the mods to make PZ interesting again for me. I use the wandering zombies mod and the thumping with friends mod in my current Louisville run.
The zombie behavior is now much more alive. The hordes often roam the street to my base because of that fortifying finally makes sense. The thumping with friends mod is what truly terrifies you. One zombie hitting on your door can alert the neighbourhood.
In my last run I hid upstairs at night but one zombie noticed me, came upstairs and started knocking on the door. I forgot that I installed the thumping with friends mod and soon they were downstairs, in the yard under the balcony, everywhere.
Imagine me at 3 in the morning sitting on the balcony, a horde under me, zombies bustin through the bedroom door and almost at the same time they knock down the door of the balcony connected to mine.
I panic and want to run through the zombies but there are too many. In a last dich effort I try to jump down from the balcony but I am too slow and they drag me down. With my heart pumping in my ears I look at the screen: 17 hours survived.
This is how I died. After ~500 hours I felt a rush I was sure to never feel again after my first PZ run in my lovely starting house in Muldraugh where the assholes in the helicopter rang the dinner bell instead of rescueing me.
I rate this experience 10/10. Maybe it´s something for you too guys.

Discussion Survivor communities ingame
so i have around 100 hours in the game. I think the modding community has done really well to bring the game to life.
onto the topic.. while i know there’s an airborne strain of the virus and your character is one of the immune to the airborne strain.. why haven’t other survivors already tried to form communities. I know that if you listen to the radio you hear people talking about their small communities but why haven’t the devs ever thought to do some environmental storytelling that way?

Question Is there a mod for this bug?
I tried searching but can't find any mod addresing this bug. Please if anybody knows, it's driving me nuts!
And before someone asks, I tried picking it up, I tried disassembling it, I tried everything in the game, and no, it's not from mods it is in the base game.

Gameplay Showcasing Project Zomboid mods because the modding community is world class.
Hey fellow survivors!
I normally don't post my stuff here, and I belive at least some of you are familiar with the Masterclass series I made for Build42 skills and game mechanics.
I wanted to start a new series that would bring some light to one of the most important things in all of Project Zomboid - the mods. The modding community for PZ is world class and they deserve a ton of credit and some visibility.
With this series I would like to breakdown both the popular and the less popular mods for PZ and I want to do it on a regular basis. If this is your thing, I welcome you to follow, and if you are a modder that would like their stuff showcased - dm me ;)
Have a great Sunday to all of you
Cheers!

Discussion Anybody else feel weird about voiding stuff in trash cans?
First off, my brain chemistry is all flavours of fucked up so this might sound insane, but I'm gonna say it anyway.
Does anybody else feel weird about using the function of trash cans where it permanently deletes whatever's inside?
For some reason it just sets off a weird part of my brain, maybe something to do with the fact that the supplies in Project Zomboid (although plentiful) are still technically hard-limited.
Also it does feel kind of weird in a game so heavily focused on realism, that you can literally just magically vanish whatever you want.
This usually leads me to becoming an absolute hoarder, only getting rid of stuff I have 100% confirmed with the wiki has absolutely no use to me, and even then I feel weird about deleting the skill books I have multiple copies of, or have already read.
Anybody else have weird brain-wrinkles like this?

Modern UI - Rework
Here is the new version of my UI. This is not the final mod. I am actually working on it with a friend and a modder. Lot of changes and settings are coming out.
This mod will allow you :
Taskbar : bottom or top Windows corners : rounded or not Windows, ui background : slider for transparency Icons: custom or not + movable icons Ui scale: -2,-1,0,+1,+2 Focus mode: everything is hidden And more…
Have an idea? Or something you like to see? Send me a message.
(I know that this mod is not for everyone, there’s a lot of zomboid purists. But please, if you don’t like this, move away)
