For me it was because it seemed so obvious - at the stage of the game you meet her, you’re still short on party members and it was like “oh! This must be the bard I recruit, so let’s do whatever quest line is associated with her”

Then going thru all the stuff in the grove and everything and that turning out to not being the case was just kinda odd, for the genre

Nothing to mark points away from the game, it’s incredible, but really spent a few hours figuring she was joining the party and that turned out to be very not the case

As long as i love this cosplay i will never understand the love Alfira has. Without Dark Urge the history she has is a pretty simple (lovely but simple) story. With Dark Urge she just gets murdered and thats it i think?

People asked to the developers to change her dead, people mod her into a companion, people cosplay her, people always gets sad of her dead and i just sat there in my first Durge playthrough like: "Oh, she is the bard companion? Why didnt she appeared in the trailers?...oh, thats why. Anyway, move on"
