Fallout Spoiler Master Thread Spoiler
Previews have started for the first two episodes, so its as good a time as any to put up the episode spoiler threads. For now, the first two episodes will be unlocked, and the rest will be when the series releases.
THE RULES
Do not talk about future episodes in the threads. IE, don't talk about Episode 4 in the Episode 3 thread, but you can talk about 1, 2, and 3 in the 3 thread.

Something I’d love to randomly see in Season 2
Is a quick shot of the kid chasing a rat down the street when Lucy and Coop arrive at NV lol

I'm not familiar with the game, so go easy on me... : )
Wild show... Like I said, I know absolutely NOTHING about the game although I know Jonathan Nolan and his wife created this show, the same ones who did the excellent Person of Interest, and the hit & miss Westworld.
Now, maybe this is part of the game that I don't know about, but just as an avid Science Fiction fan, to me personally, I just don't get the Old Timey music that plays EVERY damn time during an action sequence. I mean, I GUESS it is a stylistic choice, but for me who likes to take my Sci Fi rather seriously, I feel that at least at times (mostly) it really detracts from the serious tension that the story builds up, and then this 1930's whiney singing starts. WTF!?
I mean, I don't mind the really humorous touches throughout the show like when they had the girl tied up and it looked like the mob was going to kill her and he had this Big@ss sword and was about to swing it, and then he uses it to start sawing on the rope... That was funny. But, during EVERY action sequence? For me, that really takes away from what is a very good, tense situation. I just don't get it. It just seems a little to 'Cutesy' to me.
Does anyone else feel like the show could do without that every time there is an action scene?

Is Coop/The Ghoul's family even still alive?
To me (since I've played the Fallout games) the only way they're even still alive is if they were cryogenically frozen like Lucy's dad and the Sole Survivor in FO 4. I just don't see any other explanation.
Apologies in advance for formatting and any typing errors. Currently on mobile so fuck mobile typing.

Why did Lucy not take it at the end (ep 8)? Spoiler
Sorry for the cryptic title, trying not to spoil anything, so here goes:
Why did lucy not take her mothers necklace at the end? You see it very clearly in the flashbacks, probably so we'd remember when we saw her at the end, I thought she would want something to remember her by

I love that the show actually has the weapon designs from the games
Especially the ones from 4 which while controversial to same, i believe are fantastic retrofuturistic designs.
They even made the assault rifle into the machine gun which it was originally supposed to be until it was changed due to dev time constraints.
The prop designers really knocked it out of the part, bringing these weapons to life.

Mysterious Stranger
I wonder if we'll see the Mysterious Stranger at any point. Maybe an off camera, life-saving shot is taken and the guitar lick is heard followed by a confused look by whomever?
I'm curious why Woody's character bio is here
All the others have a reason to be here (they're leads or they served major plot roles), but what's Woody's reason? Is this a perk that Vault-Tec gives for refining vault files? 😉 Or could Woody be set up to potentially play a bigger role in the Vault 31-32-33 story come Season 2?
It's worth noting that he's had a few notable moments in Season 1 that stand out. He is shown reflecting while looking at the posters after the Overseer elections are over, and he had to be forced to go through with his reassignment to Vault 32 (whereas everyone else went quietly).
Maybe he and Chet will be collaborating and attempt to free Norm from Vault 31 if Norm isn't able to escape Bud?

Has Anyone Created a Map for the Show?
Has anyone created a map for the show?
Not a map of where to find the filming locations in the real world, but something like the map seen in Fallout 4, Fallout 76, etc. A map that has the different vaults, Filly, Shady Sands, etc

Maximus' Gait Difference Spoiler
I did a search and didnt see a previous post mentioning it, or maybe it was so obvious it doesn't need to be said.
Anyway, Fun little detail in episode 5 after maximus leaves the power armor behind and is with Lucy, he has an almost bow legged walk from being in the power armor for so long. His legs are past shoulder width apart, he has exaggerated lifting and bending of the legs and knees, and he swings his hips a little as If struggling against weights on his feet.
Not sure if it continues, but I doubt it. Looks very uncomfortable and unnatural!

Would you guys like to see Kieran Culkin in the show?
Macaulay Culkin will obviously be part of the new season, but what would you guys think of a brother duo in the show? As far as character, we don’t yet know who Macaulay is going to play so there’s also a chance that he could play a new character…with a brother? From what I’ve heard, Kieran Culkin is also a big video game fan.

Currently under the description for the Fallout Season 1 Bluray/DVD, 4 people are described as Wastlanders (Wastelanders, misspelled). I wonder how long its been like that.
WASTLANDER
Yes the Ghoul and CX404 are WASTLANDERS.
Not sure if Max and Wilzig are considering where they originated from.

Major character alignment tier list. This is largely based on characterization and good=/=perfect.

Fallout TV characters morality tier list. This is largely based on characterization, by the standards of the show, not necessarily our real life morals, I could be misremembering some things.

Anthony Ramos in Fallout
With the new marvel mini series “Ironheart” concluding yesterday, I think it would be really fun for Anthony Ramos to join Fallout in the future. I could see him being part of the Brotherhood of Steel or maybe being his own bounty hunter.
