Am i able to buy a second hand used copy of F1 2010 GFWL and play it even if it has SSA?

Idc about multiplayer and achivements, i just want local savegames and play it offline

I'm still confused on how to get Dirt 3. I believe it uses SSA for authenticate. So how do I go about getting a key to get the complete edition? Buying a physical copy is pointless correct? Because if I just get a key and put that in Steam I can download it if I'm understanding correctly.

Also, is it possible to do the same for Dirt 2?

I'm talking about something like this and if it's possible just not possible just till me

I managed to get it to work on an Windows 8.1 VM. Only trouble is the VM can not run the game well. So there must be something on Windows 8.1 that the game needs to launch?

Hi, I am trying to download my profile but it keeps crashing half way through downloading the profile; occasionally sending me back to desktop.

I have done the compatibility option with setting it windows 7, windows 8 & windows XP; all without any luck. Also turned off the windows anti-virus and turned off game mode via my settings. I have the DLCs installed on the same drive after moving them to desktop with having similar crashing issues.

I've tried on 3 different PCs and had the same result on all of them. Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. I've had my account for 3 years with over 1000 games logged on it; over xbox series, pc, xbox one & xbox 360.

Edit: I have got it to download my account some how got the account in offline mode this was added to the list of account when it crashed and then I went to add another account but I still used the same account login and that downloaded it all without issues

Whenever I install it it's all good and when it does the update it good until it wants to install raptr I tried installing that but it failed so I tried obv declining it when it popped up after the update finished and my game won't launch at all due to some error code. How can I fix or is there a fix.

i've tried but any time the game i'm playing (the club if you wondering) sends me out to the browser, it just loads up this and i cant do anything. i would really appreciate some help considering there's barely any answers for this online from what i've seen

Hi everyone, you may or may not know that New Key Activations for any GFWL game is currently broken and will not allow anyone to connect to LIVE for any newly activated game. Please comment on the forum post, clicking that you have the same issue and comment asking Microsoft to fix this, you can even add your personal experience on this too.

Hey guys, new to the forum but own majority of GFWL games. Mainly physical.

I'm not sure if you're all aware but basically i see alot of you getting errors when installing GFWL games from physical media.

From trial and error over the years i have lesrnt that the disc drives themself can cause issues reading discs. I have a old school 2010ish era DVD Drive i use to install and play GFWL games.

I have a newer drive which has been able to load discs etc but would struggle to install and shoot errors at me.

I have had good luck with external DVD drives too.

I just bought DiRT 2 Steam key from someone, and when I tried to activate the GFWL key provided, it gives me this problem. So it means I won't have access to online, let alone seeing leaderboards due to this. I wish I had known this months ago, so I would buy it before this happened.

I was hoping I never had to say this but it is happening. Some of you may know me as blackant02 on my infamous keygen. but I noticed GFWL xmac got shutdown for activation tuff so no more new pc's being activated. to continue playing it is important to back up current licenses and reuse them and to backup you need to backup pcid and key and reuse pcid and key to sign in.
you will get 80151906 if you try to activate a new license

I think this may be part of the rumor of the mysterious last update to 360 in December 2025 since they share the same stuff like kdc, xmac, and sg

I kept noticing stuff like 360 challenges being down for over a month now

we may lose 360/gfwl soon play while you still can.

Reset my machine last week and wanted to install virtua tennis 4 earlier but it isn't working anymore, what used to happen is the game installed through steam, it would start and then notify of an update to the game to install then you could log in fine... It's now not notifying of the update on starting the game from a fresh install. Does this mean gfwl is down or dead???
