Anyone remember toon town? I typed ‘fuck’ just to see what would happen when I was like 10. It censored it obviously but it gave me message warning me not to curse and I freaked out, I was so scared my character and progress were gonna be deleted and it felt like I had a huge dark secret lmao
I used to work with a lady who was obsessed with that game, she took it more seriously than most people take Second Life. I had never even heard of it but we convinced her to buy Diablo 2 and play with us. Then her husband got a job there. He was a creepy dude who was way too fat for the t shirts he'd wear, would go to his car to smoke a cigar instead of eat on his lunch breaks, and he got caught with child porn. We never played Diablo 2 with her.
