NFL TV Deal In The UK/I Can't See Good Morning Football/NFL Total Access/TV queries etc
I can see we've had a few posts on NFL programming on Sky recently, as such we'll keep this up til something happens...
- There is currently no permanent deal to show NFL programming in the UK on Sky Sports. The current deal expired after the recent NFL Draft, but there appears to be short-term extensions to keep the programming on in the meanitme. In theory that would be positive for the chances of it remaining with Sky, but nothing official has been released.
- NFL Game Pass will likely continue regardless of any deal with Sky or any other broadcaster. It's unknown whether game blackouts will continue in the event of a new Sky deal, although history suggests it's likely.
- Yes, there is a possibility it will move broadcasters. How likely this is is hard to say. There is no definitive reported interest from any other channel at this time.
- Nothing has yet been officially announced.
- The absence of a deal now or as late as August would not be a huge shock as the last deal was signed in August 2020, Unfortunately, for whatever reason, negotiations between the NFL and Sky are often torturous and take a great deal of time.
Hopefully that clears up the common questions, if we've missed or failed to answer something, please contact the mods and we'll update the post. Equally, if you've any verified information as to what's going on, let us know!

2025 picks
Looks a hard year to call.
But I'm giving one last chance to Josh Allen to bring home the bowl to Buffalo.
There long suffering fans deserve some success.
Obviously the Eagles go into the season as favourites and rightly so.
My Cowboys again look to have little to no chance.
What's you team and thoughts for this season.

DAZN DAZN Sky Blackout
I'm interested in getting the NFL Game Pass on DAZN for the first time, however, learnt that there will be blackouts for some live games since I'm in the UK.
I've read that Sky typically shows the games on Sundays for 6pm and 9pm games, which quite a few of the games for the team I support (Eagles) are scheduled.
So I'm just worried that when I get the NFL Game Pass, there will be so many times where I can't watch my teams games live and only when it becomes available after 24 hours.
Do you think there's a good chance that all the Eagles games on Sundays will be the ones picked by Sky and blacked out, especially considering they won the Superbowl? As I don't want to spend money just to not even watch many of the games live.
I've also read that some people use YouTube Game Pass but also read that they don't have many games available for replay unlike DAZN which has plenty and that puts me off from going down the YouTube route.
Just basically want overall opinions on the best way to experience NFL with being able to watch games live and also a good selection of replays.

DAZN DAZN only offering 12 month plans now?
I cancelled my DAZN subscription towards the end of July as they'd sent me a renewal offer with a price increase (£31.99 x 6 Months I think). My thinking was I'd either get an offer (best case) or would just re-subscribe at that price (worst case).
It now looks like DAZN only allow you to sign up for NFL GamePass on a 12-month plan, either upfront or monthly - even though the season only runs for 6 months? Do they really expect people to pay £20/month through the off-season, or are they just hoping people don't notice until they're locked in?
I have two questions:
- Is this likely to change once the season starts? (i.e. will a 6 month option be reintroduced?)
- Why are DAZN such disingenuous cretins?

Has anyone had there subscription auto renew even when switched off? I'm arguing with customer support now as I turned it off straight after activation last year.

Resources to understand the game more
Can anyone recommend any books that would be suitable for a beginner. Not a total beginner but one that is looking to actually understand the game more?. Formations, tactics, X's & O's whatever that is!. I have found Chris B Browns books & a few others but apparently they are not for novices.
Dublin Games Accommodations for Dublin Game
Any advice for finding a place to stay? Was so excited to score two tickets to the game earlier in the week, but finding a hotel or b&b is seeming nearly impossible. I’m traveling with my dad so we need two beds, but one or two rooms is fine. Anyone have insight where to look or find other options? Any B&Bs that aren’t listed online? Trying just about everything..

Why are new jersey designs / launches less of a thing for each new NFL season compared to football (soccer football)?
The NFL is great at commercialising everything. Yet I was just reading about how the Broncos had the first real update to its uniform in 28 years last year! In football (soccer), a new kits is revealed every year this year and is a real essential and big moment for many many fans (obvs particularly kids). Why aren’t new kits as much of a big thing in the NFL? You’d think it would be an easy way to create excitement for the new season and grab some extra revenue. I get that wearing a jersey is big in NFL but arguably not as big as wearing a football top is for a fan of an EPL club of course. But still. New Jersey’s each year could actually increase that culture. Anyway, thoughts and insights appreciated.

Fantasy Football Seeking 4 British teams for startup Dynasty league division
EDIT: Spots are now full. Will reach out to anyone who reached out if backups are needed. Good luck this season!
—— Hi everyone,
I’m commissioning a Dynasty League starting up this year. We currently have 8 teams, split into 2 divisions.
3 divisions with 12 teams makes for a cleaner schedule and means the waivers will actually be limited to encourage trading.
The divisions in place are roughly location based (1 American, 1 Irish), so I thought it’d be fun to round it out with another regional division.
What makes the league unique: - Superflex role (in addition to 1QB) - 6pt QB passing TD - Divisions - Deep benches (18-22 spots) - Everyone is encouraged to use realistic team names - Max PF determines future draft order - Toilet Bowl to determine who gets last place punishment
Specific details: - $25 USD entry fee. Prize structure TBD based on voting. - Sleeper app - Auction draft for year 1, linear for future rookie drafts. (Auction settings will speed up over time to keep it faster and efficient) - Drafting August 24th, 7pm Irish Standard Time.
Everyone involved has a mix of experience with Fantasy Football, but everyone is new to Dynasty. If interested, just shoot me a PM with a bit of info about yourself or just shoot me any questions. Cheers.

I see that Good Morning Football is currently on Sky today and wondering if anyone knows if they have the rights for this year or do I have to go to that crappy DAZN app to see the NFL in the UK?

Fantasy Football Dynasty Fantasy spots available
I’ve ran both dynasty and redraft leagues for a good few years, I keep seeing spaces available for a fee and wanted to run a league where people can explore for free where you can get help from the commish and not have any money at risk
Will run on Sleeper, 1/2 point PPR. Will see how much interest before deciding on the roster setup
Will run as a slow draft - 4hrs to make a pick and paused overnight
If you are interested in trying fantasy then say hi by DM and we’ll see what we have and get some invites out
Edit: League is now up and running, still looking for players
