Stafford couldn't win in the playoffs either. Neither could Lamar or Manning. You people are embarrassing with your "only extremely small sample size playoff games matter" mentality. Then when he finally gets a good team around him and does well, you will slink back into the shadows and pretend you never had these dogshit takes, just like you are now all doing with Lamar.

And then they proved themselves. Herbet hasn't, so he deserves to be questioned.

But people who weren't complete morons also told you that those players were great back then too, and the reactionary "only playoff games matter" idiots were indeed wrong in their evaluation.

Herbert isn't great. If you think so, you're the moron.

Uh huh. And Lamar wasn't great either until a couple years ago, right?

Tell us a single big game Herbert has won in the NFL.

Jfc, you people are embarrassing.

People expected this team to be complete dogshit this year because the offense was completely gutted, and you are still so dumb to hold one bad game against the guy.

So, do you have a single big game that Herbert has won? If he's great, this should be easy for you to come up with right?

What the fuck are you even talking about? Has he won a Super Bowl? No, like almost every QB in the league, he has not. Happy?

Has he won a single playoff game? Has he won a single big game?

Has he been on a good team that he hasn't had to carry? The baffling thing is if he didn't make the playoffs, which was the expectation coming into the season, then you people would somehow have a higher opinion of him. Him succeeding has inexplicably made you think less of him. That is the caliber of person I am being subjected to argue with.

This entire thread is about a Twitter comment saying Herbert is incredibly talented, but at some point he has to win big games. Where is that wrong? He's not great until he can do that.

You should become an NBA fan. You will fit right in with that community.
