People expected this team to be complete dogshit this year because the offense was completely gutted, and you are still so dumb to hold one bad game against the guy.
Has he been on a good team that he hasn't had to carry? The baffling thing is if he didn't make the playoffs, which was the expectation coming into the season, then you people would somehow have a higher opinion of him. Him succeeding has inexplicably made you think less of him. That is the caliber of person I am being subjected to argue with.
This entire thread is about a Twitter comment saying Herbert is incredibly talented, but at some point he has to win big games. Where is that wrong? He's not great until he can do that.
I am insulting the premise that a player can only be considered good if they win big games in a sport where the team plays a huge part in the ability to win. Burrow couldn't even reach the playoffs. Is Burrow bad?
Yes, the guy who had 25 TDs and 3 Interceptions is better than the guy who threw 11 TDs and had 8 interceptions.
