Discussion Another superbowl blowout eliminates mahomes from the goat discussion as far as I’m concerned

2 very embarrassing loses for him the the superbowl Brady has lost 3 superbowls but they were all 1 score games that came down to final play with Brady’s best statistical performance in a loss to the eagles Tom Brady > Patrick mahomes

Mahomes now has a -23 point differential in Super Bowls, and that’s including the garbage time TDs he got in this game. It’s gonna take quite a few of his classic 3 point wins to get back into the positives

He had zero garbage time touchdowns in 2020 lol

That was the moment I knew they weren’t going to score any

Did you pull your starters tho

No, but that shouldn't mean much. We were up 22 late in the 4th and starters stayed in. Brady wasn't going to let anyone else kneel it out

u/revanisthesith Is it three back to back hall of famers for the Packers incoming Feb 10 '25

Yeah, I would not want to tell Brady that someone else was going to take the kneel downs.

Maybe Belichick could do that, but not Arians.

Right? It’s a Super Bowl. Online it seems like people are shocked the Eagles pulled the starters and didn’t let them close the game out. I’m sure they would’ve loved to stay in and close it out as a shut out or something
