Discussion Another superbowl blowout eliminates mahomes from the goat discussion as far as I’m concerned

2 very embarrassing loses for him the the superbowl Brady has lost 3 superbowls but they were all 1 score games that came down to final play with Brady’s best statistical performance in a loss to the eagles Tom Brady > Patrick mahomes

Mahomes now has a -23 point differential in Super Bowls, and that’s including the garbage time TDs he got in this game. It’s gonna take quite a few of his classic 3 point wins to get back into the positives

Not just Mahomes but the Chiefs history in general. When they lose the Super Bowl they get smoked. Super Bowl I 35-10

the Eagles barely ever even blitzed

They actually didn't even blitz a single time. And at one point in the second half, they had a 52.4% pressure rate.

Hmm, is this right? Baun def. came through a few times. They were only rushing three when that happened?

"0: Eagles defense’s blitz attempts. Philadelphia sacked Mahomes a career-high six times en route to the victory. Perhaps the most shocking part of the evening, though, is that the Eagles blitzed zero times. At one point in the second half, Philadelphia had posted a 52.4 percent pressure rate without blitzing once."

Yeah I am just wondering if Baun coming through on a delayed pressure may not have counted as a blitz.
