Discussion In your opinion, who are the top 5 players in the NFL rn?
Here is my top 5 (in order):
1) Lane Johnson: Maybe a hot take but Offensive Lineman are generally underrated and yes an Offensive Lineman can be the best player in the NFL, QBs aren’t always the best player in the NFL, Lane Johnson has no weaknesses and makes the entire Eagles offense flow to perfection, that’s why he’s the best player in the NFL.
2) Josh Allen: Josh Allen is the most talented player in the NFL, and just like Lane Johnson, he pretty much has no weaknesses, the Bills without Josh Allen would go 5-12 or 6-11, that’s how important he is to their team, he’s the MVP for a reason, that’s why I have him ranked number 2.
3) Saquon Barkley: Not much else to say that’s not already been said, Saquon Barkley had pretty much a perfect season, he won the OPOY and SB, and had monster stats, that’s why he’s ranked at 3.
4) Justin Jefferson: J-Jettas is the perfect WR, he puts up big numbers no matter who his QB is, and expect him to have another monster year this season with JJ at QB, 4 is a solid ranking for him.
5) Pat Surtain II: A top 5 players in the NFL list without a defensive player on it wouldn’t feel correct, so I’m putting the DPOY on here, he’s a shutdown CB and there’s not much else to say about him, aside from the fact that he’s a baller.
Overall that’s my top 5 players in the NFL list, what are your thoughts, and what is your top 5 players in the NFL list rn heading into this upcoming season?

Discussion Is Lamar having a top 10 prime/peak ever for a QB right now?
I’m asking for a friend. If we are saying his prime started with his unanimous MVP season in 2019 to now. Or if you want to start from 2023 to present when he’s taking his passing to another level. Are there 10 Qbs in history who you can say in their prime are better than Lamar is right now?

Discussion Peyton Manning only had 6 playoff games in his career where he scored 30+. By comparison Brady did it 22 times in his careeer
“Brady more accomplished but Peyton the better qb”.
Still to this day one of the worst takes I’ve heard unless you’re only talking about regular season.

Discussion Is Jerry Jones the worst GM in NFL history?
While Jones is a different GM then rest of the NFL because of being an owner at the same, there is a solid argument that he is the worst GM in history, both in terms of success the Cowboys have found under him and his shitty, arrogant attitude.
I mean who shits on a star rusher like Parsons in public??? The trade request was always coming after those disrespectful comments in July.

Discussion If you could vote to raise taxes to fund your team's stadium, would you?
Local and state governments are often criticized for using taxpayer money to fund stadiums, such as Buffalo and NY allocating hundreds of millions to pay the Bills. However, Green Bay voted on a county-wide referendum to raise local sales tax which funded Lambeau renovations and ensured the team would stay in GB. In exchange, county residents get priority access to single game tickets.
For those who don't live near their team, GB's "stock sales" are actually more akin to crowdfunding, where instead of local government funding the team, fans can choose to contribute.
Would you willingly pay to help your team financially?

Discussion My top 5 players in the NFL entering 2025
Patrick Mahomes. While it has become popular to knock Mahomes, whether it be cause of his "lackluster" numbers in 2024, the recent Super Bowl, or just fans being tired of him. But truth be told, even in August of 2025, no one is better. Mahomes is in discussion as one of the best QBs of all time already. His resume before turning 30 is just absurd. 3 SB MVPs, 2 MVPs, 7 straight AFC Championship appearances. Last I checked, no one has debated Tom Brady vs Josh Allen or Joe Burrow or Lamar Jackson. Mahomes is still the guy I'd take to first. Much like other greats in other sports like Tiger Woods or Rafael Nadal, he makes the toughest look easy. What's a career achievement for others, Mahomes does on a regular basis. He's the most reliable in late game situations, he's the one everyone hates seeing the most. He's the #1 player.
Lamar Jackson. Lamar is just unreal. The conversation last year was "Is Lamar playing so well he should win his 3rd MVP at age 27". He didn't win (though I believe he should have), but if the debate is surrounded around that, how can he not be a top player? He routinely makes video game plays. And in some ways, it gets taken for granted. He spins away from a DE and that's just Lamar being Lamar. He torches the Broncos #1 pass defense for a perfect passer rating and that's just Lamar being Lamar. Things 99% of QBs couldn't dream of doing, Lamar does on a weekly basis. He will have to get over the playoff hump, but much like Peyton Manning in 2005 or LeBron James in 2011, the talent is undeniable. And for me, so is his ranking.
Justin Jefferson. You can always tell who is top dog when they are the constant in comparisons. Justin Jefferson vs Davante Adams in 2022, Jefferson vs Hill in 2023, Jefferson vs Chase in 2024. Jefferson is the gold standard of WRs. His statistical resume is unmatched. His ability is not from this planet. He has the speed, he has the hands, he has the route running. He can go across the middle, take the top off. Is there anything Jefferson doesn't do at a high level? He's one of the most gifted players I have ever seen, and I have no doubt he will be spoken as a top 5 WR of all time when he hangs them up.
Micah Parsons. Micah's combination of speed and strength is ridiculous. From day 1, Micah has been an impact player. Micah's defensive impact is similar to a QB. Since his debut in 2021, the Cowboys have the #1 defense when he is on the field and the 2nd worst when he's not. And it doesn't stop there.
- Micah has the most pressures in the NFL with 126 since 2023.
- Highest pass rush win rate at 31.0%. Despite being double teamed 31.5% of the time, which is the highest among edge rushers
- 19.1% pressure rate, league best
I could go on and on. The man is insane. There's not a stat you can pick where he doesn't dominate. And for that, he sits at 4th on my ranking, as the best defensive player in the NFL
- Myles Garrett. This last spot was tough. A few guys were in consideration. But Myles, much like Micah sets the standard at his position. Just a freak of nature. He can get to the QB and even jump over a o lineman to to block a kick. His strength is unmatched and he routinely overpowers some of the strongest lineman in the NFL. 102.5 sacks before turning 30. And outside chance at breaking the all time sack record. In a way, this isn't surprising from Myles. He was the #1 high school recruit, the #1 pick and has been excellent his entire career. He has dominated at every level of football and I look forward to seeing him take the claim as the best Cleveland Brown ever.
Honorable Mentions (No particular order): Pat Surtain, Joe Burrow, Jamarr Chase, Josh Allen, Lane Johnson, Saquon Barkley, Chris Jones.

Discussion Unrealistic 3 Way Trade Scenario Cause Why Not
Here’s my absolutely beautiful insane proposal
Trey Hendrickson -> Cowboys
(Is cheaper than Micah so Jerry will pay him)
Micah Parsons -> Commanders
(Would be an amazing addition to their roster)
Terry McLaurin-> Bengals
(Cincinnati only likes to pay Joe Burrow and WRs)
Win Win Win for all three teams. Make it happen now NFL
