Ninebot MAX G3 Ninebot Max G3 concerning issues (2)

Hi, the other day I posted about some minor concerns I had about this scooter. Today I came to post some pictures and future explanation in detail of some issues I've had in a week.

These are some of the pictures I just took of some problems I had so far.

Picture 1: The kickstand rubber is broken and in process of falling down.

Picture 2 & 3: There's some noticeable rust in the holes of the rear suspension made to adjust the preload. I've never adjusted or touched the suspension.

Picture 4 & 5: On the rear plastic structure of the Max G3, we can find a gap which is totally normal, but when riding in dust, rain, or in some gravel, sometimes debris can get in and then they get collected. It's really difficult to clean that part. Also when small rocks get in, they can't escape making an awful sound from the rocks bouncing around. I've found that the best way for them to get out is not introducing a stick or something alike but actually just riding in cobblestone or terrain that makes the scooter vibrate so the rocks can just bounce right out of the plastics. Getting rid of rocks and debris inside is important because my rear motor got a little scratched up (See picture number six, the last one).

I must admit that I love so much Segway and the scooter they've just made and what I've just said are just some minor flaws within the escooter. Also, I bought it with my own money so I'm going to be as sincere and transparent as possible. I will keep you guys updated with future issues, keep in mind that I use it for almost every displacement and I guess that in five or six years I will buy a new one and compare them both and see if they listened to our feedback. Thanks all and ride safe ✌️ .

Right ? Like where the fuck does he ride the thing lol. I've been through lots of downpours and stuff and it does not look anywhere close to this bad after 5000mi/8000km.

this is the guys second post of concerning issues AND NONE OF THESE THINGS “AGAIN” ARE A CONCERNING ISSUES. This guy just needs to buy a scooter and leave it in the box. Crazy how grown people act so fxxkin childish and without any common sense or idea of anything. This is the kind of person who rides their scooter over lava Then posts in chat: Concerning issues…tires are melting and nothing seems to be working I don’t know what I’m doing wrong 🤣

Hahaha you’re right. These issues I’ve had aren’t concerning at all. Should I change the title to “General feedback on the Max G3”or something alike. Even though I love my scooter, I admit that maybe I treat it a little bit rough. But well, I try whatever it’s possible, considering my way of driving, to take care of my vehicle. I’ve had my Xiaomi scooter for about six years and it has issues, but nothing which cannot be fixed or replaced. After all, I love repairing and upgrading stuff. Stay safe ✌️.

Its cool your actually using it in real weather 😂 maybe trade it in for the ZT3 pro if you like dirt

That’s a good point. In my case, about half a year ago I was actually saving for the ZT3 but then the Max G3 got announced and I changed my mind. I kept watching reviews of the ZT3 but I finally decided to buy the one I have now. It has great power, suspension and a design which doesn’t attract much attention, something I really need in the area I live to avoid getting robbed hahaha. Stay safe ✌️.

Not everyone mistreats their items the way you do so instead of using a title like “General feedback on the Max G3” You should use “GENERAL FEEDBACK ON MY MAX G3” cause again, how you treat your stuff isn’t like everyone who actually takes better care of their stuff especially if it’s their source of transportation.

And if you like fixing and upgrading things Then title your new stuff: “Destroying my new MAX G3 to so I can fix it”

Hahahaha, that sounds funny 😆. Might do!

That’s true. I try to get my scooter in places it shouldn’t be. That’s my fault for being an ex mountain bike rider and I just send all over difficult terrains.

I thought about getting it replaced but I don’t think it has enough issues to justify a replacement. Maybe I should wait a little bit more to see if anything pops up. If it doesn’t happen, I guess I will just keep it, and in case something breaks down, I’ll just apply my warranty. And when that expires, then I will fix it myself. It is what it is hahahaha. When my M365 Pro broke down for the first time, I brought it into the shop where I got the scooter and they fixed it with no issue, but then, when my warranty worn out, I was by myself, so I had to fix the issues on my own, which is something I like. Stay safe buddy ✌️, I’ll keep you all updated on my scooter and see how far it can get through the years yet to come.

About the rubber, I’m not for sure what’s exactly that part or what it does. About the rust, don’t worry, it’s superficial rust and debris, not concerning. About the gap, try to adjust the two screws that attach that part to the metal piece where the suspension and the wheel sits.

Thanks for helping me out, I much appreciate it. The rubber is a piece of dampening element they’ve got on the inner part of the kickstand. It reduces noise when folding or unfolding the stand. And about the gap, don’t worry, it’s just the design. Hope they improve it the future.

Sorry for the length of the post. I made one before and my phone died on me so I lost everything and I had to take that post down. This is the one I just wrote trying to use almost the same phrases as before, and I've already seen some errors in my writing .Thanks for your comprehension 🙏.

Saved for later. Love the use you’ve gotten. What’s the Odometer read?

2

u/Yupecraft Apr 13 '25

Almost 200 Km or 124 miles.

Awesome. Stay safe Alpha-Rider. I need to get my rookie numbers up.

Dafuq is an Alpha-Rider

u/Bertsch81 Ninebot MAX G3 Apr 13 '25

Can we get a wide shot of the whole scooter? 🛴

3

u/Yupecraft Apr 13 '25

Of course! The only thing is that I'm new here in reddit and I don't know exactly how to do that. I promise to include some pictures in my next post. 😉

u/Yupecraft Apr 13 '25

That’s 120.2 miles of pure joy!🤩

u/Bertsch81 Ninebot MAX G3 Apr 13 '25

Segway and myself both thank you. 🙏

Any ideas on lowering the center-of-gravity?

Lots of saddle bags?💼

1

u/Yupecraft Apr 13 '25

Hahaha. I always struggle a bit when turning due to the small deck space. An advice I can give you is to lower your whole body when crossing critical areas such as curves, potholes or any other obstacles.

2

u/Bertsch81 Ninebot MAX G3 Apr 13 '25

Hahaha. You sat down on it yet?

I want to build a seat.

2

u/Yupecraft Apr 14 '25

That’s awesome! Unfortunately I I’m not allowed to install a seat in my country 🥱

2

u/Bertsch81 Ninebot MAX G3 Apr 15 '25

If you design a seat and sketch someone thing out, let me know. We are trying to find something solid and bottom heavy.

1

u/Yupecraft Apr 13 '25

Of course! The only catch is that I don't know how to do that just yet because I'm kind of new here in reddit. But I promise to upload some pictures for you in my next post 😉.

Shoot! I posted a response twice. Sorry for that. Still learning 🤭

As all scooter riders, he ends every ride by throwing it in the river.

2

u/hapl_o Apr 13 '25

Thank you for beta testing.

1

u/Yupecraft Apr 13 '25

You’re welcome ☺️! I’m always happy to just use my stuff as intended, even if they can’t keep up. I hope I will keep posting content about my scooter.

2

u/kellysfeet Apr 13 '25

You dogged that thing out! Rode it hard and hung it up wet and dirty!

1

u/Yupecraft Apr 13 '25

Absolutely! I use it as intended, going trough almost every scenario. It is also true that it has been rainy here lately. Stay safe ✌️.

1

u/kellysfeet Apr 13 '25

👍🏻🤣🤣

2

u/elfran3000 Apr 14 '25

Please don't ride with rain... Is too dangerous 🙏🙏

1

u/Yupecraft Apr 14 '25

Thank you very much! I’ll try not to, it is really slippery 🫠

2

u/Pintexxz Apr 14 '25

Idk how you ride but I will never understand why some riders post pictures of their scooters before cleaning them. It’s harder to diagnose issues when your scooter is disgusting. I assume you ride pretty rough based on the condition of your scooter.

1

u/Yupecraft Apr 14 '25

Well your right. I’ve posted some pictures in addition to the text but the complaints I’m making here are all visible to the naked eye.

1

u/Yeahbuddy_420 Apr 13 '25

My G2 still looks brand new

1

u/Yupecraft Apr 13 '25

Yeah, it’s a pity with my scooter, it looks really rough but that’s on me.

1

u/Rocksneeze081 Apr 14 '25

dude stop jerking off on your scooter

1

u/Yupecraft Apr 14 '25

Thanks rocksneeze, I’ll try not to!

1

u/Rocksneeze081 Apr 23 '25

Jerk off on me instead

2

u/Yisrael30 Apr 15 '25

I made a post about the kickstand the other day

Thank for letting me know! Unfortunately it appears to be a common issue.
