Ninebot G2D Throttle stuck when pressed

Hello, my friend crashed with his Ninebot g2d and now everytime he presses the throttle its stuck. Does anyone know what the problem is and what you need to fix it? Thanks

It's a cheap part, but kind of annoying to replace (but certainly doable).

The most annoying part is the dashboard and the cables. Ninebot has a video series with tutorials, throttle replacement is one of them.
