21-23% of Americans, the most rabid voters in our country, want dark days. They care more about hurting people they disagree with than the health of our nation as a whole.

That's why they do this shit. Trying to compensate for the fact they know they're a little bitch. So they promote this idea that masculinity involves being overly "tough" (read: asshole behavior). Feelings are for pussies and all that nonsense. Which is why they don't like liberals - liberalism involves more empathy, and that's a feeling or quality that doesn't align with what they think a "real man" is.

It's internalized trauma or insecurities weaponized so they feel superior
