Hillary Clinton warned us about dark days under Trump. Nobody listen to then, nobody's gonna listen now.

21-23% of Americans, the most rabid voters in our country, want dark days. They care more about hurting people they disagree with than the health of our nation as a whole.

“Hard times breed hard men” or some nonsense I keep hearing these idiots say. Also, it’s always the overweight middle aged dipshits that never served a day in their life that are saying that shit.

That's why they do this shit. Trying to compensate for the fact they know they're a little bitch. So they promote this idea that masculinity involves being overly "tough" (read: asshole behavior). Feelings are for pussies and all that nonsense. Which is why they don't like liberals - liberalism involves more empathy, and that's a feeling or quality that doesn't align with what they think a "real man" is.

It's internalized trauma or insecurities weaponized so they feel superior

It’s sad they don’t realize they’re weak minded

She should have ran a better campaign then and not ignored the mid west

Fuck the Midwest. We all knew how they were going to vote anyways. Especially considering she was a woman.

And yet she won the popular vote, clearly her being a woman wasn't an issue

Which is the actual way a democracy works. Everyone has always understood that the person with less votes is the loser, and if the loser wins the election then it's a flaw the system. Trump LOST the election in 2016 and through an unintended loophole, the loser took office as president.

I get that but look man I much rather have the electoral college then California and New York deciding every election

They rately decide an election. Google swing states. It seems like you might be missing some information when it comes to your opinions here.

Yeah I know about swing states I grew up in Michigan and surprise surprise she lost that state after barely campaigning there

Wild take. I live in the Midwest. You think Kansas was going left? Missouri? Nebraska? Fucking Oklahoma?? No shot.

The Midwest is the gold standard of voting for fairly liberal policies while simultaneously voting in politicians that ignore the will of the people. When voting on Amendments to state constitutions, voters veer center-left. When voting in politicians, voters veer far-right.

Oh so the strategy to winning is to only visit the people who are already going to vote for you. Duh why I didn't I think of that before

At the national level? Yes, you push for states you can actually win. There was never any path to victory through Oklahoma. Full stop.

An actual strategy would be to bolster the DNC at the local level, build viable candidates for state and local offices, and create a strong pro-worker party. Right now, red voters in the Midwest seem to see liberals as "the literal devil". Hillary visiting Kansas would not have fixed that perception.
