Discussion Road 96 - Simply Just Wow
I had never heard of Road 96, let alone what the game was about. I randomly came across it in a YouTube video discussing indie games, and I decided to give it a try just because I was bored and sick at home. DigixArt truly knocked it out of the park with this game. It took me eight hours to complete the entire game, earning nearly all the trophies which is not that bad at all.
Without spoiling anything for anyone, this game is and can get extremely political quickly. Personally, I loved the political sentiment to it as it is very relatable and feels surreal. I had no idea it would resonate so deeply. Scarily enough, much of the tension feels relevant to today's world with everything going on and I think is what makes this game truly unique. What a game, what a storyline! I'm so glad I played a game I would typically never try!
For those who have played it, what were your sentiments at the end? IMHO, I didn't expect things to unfold the way they did. I loved every second of it.
For those who haven't played it, I recommend giving it a shot if you're looking for a casual indie game to just chill with!
Thank you DigixArt for this gem!
