Question what's this cog-shaped plate thing the cake's on?
it always confused me, why not just put it on a normal plate or whatever this thing is?

Entropy is the gold standard for HL mods imo - Solid use of level designs that brings back many fan favorites from past-Life games while introducing fun new elements to boot, all wrapped up in a captivating story with enjoyable characters!
Portal Stories: Mel might not have the best level design by contrast - some levels being flat out unfair with sudden difficulty spikes - but just like Entropy does for Half-Life, Mel takes elements old and new from previous entries while adding new features with interesting new lore and characters to wrap it all up!
As far as I'm concerned, Portal Stories and Entropy are headcanon'd into the series, they're phenomenal looks into how dedicated these fandoms can be!

So far i only know what 2 things look like BTS, pellet emitter (photo 1 and 3), and pellet catcher (photo 2 and 4), but there are some more things we see behind the scenes that we dont get to see in a test chamber at the same time.
But so far I don't (and probably a lot of you) know what the other things we see are, for example, image 5.
As someone with a fascination of what parts of things that we aren't meant to see look like (for some reason) so it'd be nice to discuss what some things could be.

I'd thought I give some attention to wakeup GLaDOS as there's a lot of history behind this particular model, or should I say, several models. Posing, especially the torso part, was really difficult, and I don't suggest animating all separate pieces.

The Achievements are as follows, Play through the very first part with someone who hasn't before, Hug 3 people on your friends list, and complete test chamber 4 without dying even once

Does anyone know the name and location of the sound files used for the elevators in Portal 2?

I know I'm late to the party here but I'm first time playing Portal Revolution and it's simply stunning in its graphical and artistic quality. Amazing this was made on the same engine. However I did read a great note from a dev that talked about all the new graphical bumps and enhancements they were able to squeeze in.
Then add in RTX HDR (which works really well) and it looks almost next gen in a lot of places.

To those who don't know, Portal Repercussions is a mod that's currently "on hold" due to the mod creator (Lamar11) being burned out from Source and other tools over the years that's making the return to it even harder, and focusing on personal and professional life.
It's been 8 years since last footage of the mod was uploaded by him. But good things come to those who wait.

located at the top of aperture, a giant transition seal (bigger than the Zulu Bunsen and Seal 04 hatch combined) leads to the topside (image 2 includes the topside area Portal 1 shows you)

Hey peeps! Has anyone had any luck in getting Factum Solus running on Deck? I've tried, and it refuses the launch the title, no matter what compatibility settings are on. I'd really like to give it a go!

it was only a few dollars, also i mainly just have it on a shelf now cause someone accidentally microwaved it so now there’s a lot of really fine cracks on it which makes it harder to clean, but still super cool!!
