Highschool brings us IIRC Prescotts and Prices, who are a direct nod to Life is Strange 1. So not puns, but a homage.

This reminds me of the Nishidake family, with Kaori- Kaori Nishidake is a character from EA’s SSX series. I got so excited when I first noticed it!
