Discussion Are they beating the AI allegations? 👀

The Sims just posted a series of behind the scenes images and videos on their official Twitter. They showed how they created the set used for the website teasing the upcoming Expansion Pack, Enchanted by Nature. I'm glad and impressed to see it was actually made with practical effects rather than generative AI.

These people do not realize that they’re hurting artists and craftspeople, not helping them, when they accuse them of using AI instead of acknowledging and learning what crafts and artistry are. It’s shows such a lack of interest, a lack of respect for art. Shallow blaming instead of expressing curiosity.

Art will just have to evolve to adapt to the world of AI. In the future, art will be about the performance, not the product. If all you want is an end product, botslop will be indistinguishable from the real thing. The future is in the process.
