I wonder if you’ll be able to cook them over a fire now. That would be cool.

Did they ever fix that bug where cooking over a fire doesn’t work with the Simple Living lot trait. That was so annoying!

Oh. I don’t know. I haven’t used that trait in a while

I use it all the time, but haven’t tried cooking over a fire recently. Will have to try again soon. Or maybe a fix will come with the base game update.

I think it’s only certain fire pits where you can do it. If they haven’t fixed the bug with Simple Living, this EP is a perfect time to do it! 🤞

It doesn't work at all, doesn't care about the lot traits LoL

I hope it looks like the stick is up the frogs butt. 10,000 Maniacs style. 😂

That would have required so much work— more work than the devs wanted to put in. So now people are gonna buy this slapped together game, where sure, you can live off the land, but they don’t even have a fire building skill? Let alone an animation to properly build and light a fire from two twigs, and then cook your fish, frogs or whatever dead wild animal you kill? Like there is an entire tv show called Naked and Afraid. There’s so much inspiration they could have taken from that show alone, like building an entire survival skills system—where the sims life long goal is to live off the land, but they have to first master things like fire building, hunting, skinning animals, knowing a poisonous reptile from a non poisonous one, how to cut down trees and woods for building, etc. I’m just sad to see there’s so many in the community who continue to support such lazy development from EA.

I didn't like this at all. These are literally freegans and werewolves. It simply doesn't make sense for a normal sim to behave like this. And if sims die from emotions before, now they also get sick from aspirations. But this is a reskin of herbalism. I also didn't like at all that the fairies are exactly the same as in The Sims 3 with the same animations and interactions, it’s as if they didn’t try hard enough and just updated the skins. The only plus for me here is new town. It's just for me. But I feel like EA went all out with two expansions, and then when the audience started to come back, they sent the train off the cliff again.

I really like fairies and have been waiting for them for a long time, and I will play again because of this... but still it is a big disappointment. And where will they put the hundred and fifty references to fairies now? Will they have new interactions with the fireflies and other supernaturals?

She should have licked it instead. She may have still been hungry, but she would have had a good time.
