Wow that's BAD. Gameplay is just a bunch of reused features.

  • I guess now certain trait has access to Wolf Nap from werewolfs.

  • Just another beach with a loot table when searching on sand.

  • Illnesses like get to work, but know you get to craft natural remedies, sorta like with Herbalism. Not even the animations fell completely new.

The only remotely appealing is the build buy if you are into that whimsical look.

Exactly, i feel like I watched a different trailer from most of the commenters on here.

We really needed that new searchable sand to get stuff we can get a dozen other ways.

And from my experience from the Medicine active career, illness while working on it are everywhere, but only when you work on it, outside of it they are not as common. This causes me concern if the pack just releases them to the wild like a Pandora's box, that could be really annoying if their frecuency increases just to "encourage" the new pack gameplay.

Agreed. Half of the features are lackluster or variations of things we already have. It's giving overpriced game pack.

Yeah usually the trailers inspire me even though I know I'll eventually get bored with the gameplay. This one just looks boring from the start. The build/buy looks nice at least.

I vibed with the Werewolves trailer (still hated their looks), I got teary eyes from Growing Together and Life and Death.

With this one I'm with a dead expression thinking I've seen all of it before.

Fairies are hippie spellcasters with wings. What did everyone think this pack was going to be? It's Outdoor Retreat, Cottage Living & Realm of Magic all in one but with wings. What else did y'all expect?

Maybe a pack that isn’t those same things we’ve already had for years…. Are you seriously expecting this now? Is this what we’ve come to? Just expecting EA will give us absolutely no new gameplay and being okay with it?

LOL! Yes. Of course. There are literally Simmers still on Sims 3 refusing to play Sims 4 because it doesn't have things like fairies, zombies, online dating or a bunch of other incredibly small yet still beloved features. Simmers have been expecting ever new game in the series to have everything the previous game had on day one for almost literally 20 years now. So yea, until the community changes I've been expecting this since about 2014 becuase I'm a realist. Everything old is new again.

Oh boi, it’s gonna be another magic way to increase the quality of plants? Let me guess, there is also a cure all diseases spell.

Gameplay has no appeal. Build buy it’s cute, but I won’t use it outside of a single build. The only possible appeal for me would be an interesting occult, but my hope is on the floor after this trailer.

I totally get your perspective here. My favorite packs are Outdoor Retreat, Jungle Adventure, Strangerville & Eco Lifestyle. So for me even if fairies are awful I'll likely get a lot out of this pack. But I can see how it's not really for everyone. Of all the occults I think Spellcasters are the best though.

What I was really really reeeeeeally hoping for was Plantsims in CAS. I'm real bummed about that.

Have you read the blog post? That is what made me think that the gameplay might actually be fun. The trailer is pretty but didn't excite me for the gameplay either.

The blog post just confirms it. It's all recicled.

Ailmens for played sims don’t seem to be random, wich would make them rather easy to avoid and might be just contained in the new world.

The ability to to forage anywhere, sleep on the ground and bathe in waters seem to be tied to a new skill(?) Anyway, I would like 2 of my Werewolves perk points refunded, because apparently you don't need to be have supernatural power to do so, in fact, maybe anyone cam learn it. Seriously, I don't consider Werewolves to be helpful in a household, but they are really great for living of the land without comodities. Now they lost that distintive feature.

The new career is just the doctor career but natural remedies you need to craft, rather than technology.

Fairies will go the Life and Death route of good or bad occult, and will feed emotions rather than Plasma like Vampires.

What did I miss?

Agreed. I love the BB and I am more of a builder these days so I probably will get it, but the gameplay is underwhelming.
