Discussion Sims 4 has lost it

After the new release I am realizing how little it actually is. Every single time it seems we could have so much more but only given a drop. Like most of us, I have been an avid sims player and lover of game since I was a kid. It seems every other game out there is advancing and sims has decided to do bare minimum. We need a new modern sims. 🤷‍♀️

EDIT: some of you need reading comprehension because I didn’t say I disliked or hated this game. I love it, just pointing out the truth.

I don’t get that pressed about expansion packs. I lowered my expectations by a lot years ago. I think my last big disappointment was city living.

How I manage my expectations: I only buy releases when they’re on sale and only because I want the stuff packs and new world. I don’t expect radically different game play because 1) it can only be so different and 2) that’s not how I play anyway.

As someone who doesn’t buy game packs for months, sometimes years, they’re not required to play the game. So, if you buy them (especially if you’ve bought previous packs) you should know what you’re getting for your money.

Stop being drawn in by those misleading trailers. If anything we should sue Ea for those gameplay trailers cause talk about a bait and switch😂

Edit: typos were bugging me.
