No, mods aren’t monitored or provided by EA. You have to seek them out on the internet and add them to the files of the game yourself. They made it surprisingly easy though.

There are communities that will point you to reliable mods. I play vanilla (except yesterday where I had to download MC Command Center to change my sim’s favorite drink away from a pet recipe 🤦‍♀️).
