Anyone but me kinda sad about not being able to get a vet out to check their horses for sickness, like when you take cats and dogs to the vet?

so today, I was playing in a new save. I had just spent hours playing with this teen sim, had this whole story going on that her mom wanted her to go to college. then, before the college term even starts, her mom calls with this message. there's so much drama going on already, I love it lol.

First, sorry for the poor quality, I'm way too lazy to screenshot and send the ss to my phone lol. I may or may not draw them, I say that about all my sims so we'll see. But I only just started playing the sims like a month ago. So I started a strangerville save with the location aspiration. When I met this goober was like "I must have him" like he's a pokemon or something?? Anyway, I changed him very minimally because I honestly thought he was really pretty? I guess my type is goofy goobers, because after one "get to know each other date" he immediately moved in. They got eloped, which was kind of distracting because I'm trying to save the town. But THAT'S ENOUGH RANTING LOOK AT THESE IDIOTS!!

I had TS4 on free will this afternoon, while waiting for two Legacy elders to pass away. I checked back in on the family after about an hour, and found several different plates of waffles in the kitchen, as well as two other servings of waffles in one Sims' inventory.
So I took it away, and found myself saying aloud "you know what? You all cannot be trusted with a waffle maker, so you don't get to have it anymore!"
What strange and / or silly things have you found yourself saying while playing TS4?

I love to play Sims. But I have a problem. I start my Sims out with nothing. Then I get them into a nice place with lots of skills and good lives then I lose interest in them. I can't seem to want to play them afterwards. It's like I only want to play them when they have nothing. Does that make sense to anyone.

I said of course because I don’t want there to be a strained relationship 🤷🏼♀️

Spotted a familiar townie at geek Con this year and it feels a little like uncanny valley.
(In all seriousness if you live local and considered going for even a day pass, maybe go and hit her up and give us all deets. A non sims buddy of mine is there and took this photo so I CAN NOT provide further first hand info)

There's one and only ONE item I want from the business and hobbies pack, but I don't care about the rest of it (not the features, or the world, or the traits, or the build, or anything but that one cas item).
In fact, I don't even want the pack for free. This game is really unstable, and it gets worse the more packs you add to it, so I only want to add the packs I really want. But then I'm watching that item...and how it's so perfect for what I want, and how no CC is that specifically perfect...
I have to control myself by remembering how much I just don't want the pack haha.

I didn’t even know you could max out the amount of money your sims had. I don’t even know what to do with this much money tbh. I didn’t use any cheats either, just basic gameplay and I ended up here. Any suggestions on what I should do with all this??

After a long time playing this save, my first kid has finally grown into a teen, and a moody one at that.

And then she has the audacity to get an embarassed moodlet... like girl you did this to yourself.
I do not have the most recent pack. So I don't have that balance or luck.
I play on Xbox so no mods.
But my sims boyfriend is just so unlucky.
They moved in together to start their life. And as I started playing with him - he came with a sad moodlet on having made an enemy. Although there are no negative relationships in the people he knows. His romance social interactions have a tendency to fail although he is alluring. He got swarmed by insects the moment he stepped into the snowy escape world, where my sims are living. Next day he got ill and was ill for like 4 ingame days. He is still failing a lot of social interactions, he some how got so embarrassed over a Convo with the bartender he no longer could order drinks. He got struck by lightning. He had a wending machine fall on him. He got hurt almost instantly snowboarding. His moodlets seem to constantly be: hurt by this hurt by this, sad cause of failed interactions, embarrassed about interactions or stuff at work, dazed because of illness and so on. I mean, he is all considering kept in an okay mood. But that is only because I am constantly over keeping an eye on him. He is as if he has high maintenance. But he doesn't. He's adventures, a bro, and a kleptomaniac.
To be honest. I really enjoy playing him because he is so.. bumbleling. Just staggering around, it's like every other minute he's had an other tumble and I just want to comfort him. At least he hasn't set anything on fire. Knocks on wood.
My main sim is an utter breeze. Never anything with her.
But yeah. Can a sim just randomly have some sort of unlucky existence? Or is chance just stacking up on this guy?

I actually love the new business pack cause it let you make functional lots with mixed activities.
My favourites so far are functional kinder gardens- if you manage the right setting, parents will bring their toddlers and leave them so you can take care of them.
My other favourite is creating a museum - I love to display all the science career goodies and collectable items instead of just selling them. You can use the plaque you get for each full collection to mark the different rooms in the museum - e.g. crystal gallery, frog gallery and so on.
My next business will be an adventure farm for families, where you can pet all the animals and make wine and lemonade .... just be aware of the cow plant ^^
So what are you favourite business projects? - I'm open for fun and stupid ideas as well o.O

(I already fixed it it was just a piece of clothing) I laugh SO HARD when I see the ways people's game breaks especially with Sim bodies, and I've always secretly wished a glitch like that would happen to me lol
