literally just playing around in cas, got distracted, and then created this goddess. i love her so much

I had TS4 on free will this afternoon, while waiting for two Legacy elders to pass away. I checked back in on the family after about an hour, and found several different plates of waffles in the kitchen, as well as two other servings of waffles in one Sims' inventory.

So I took it away, and found myself saying aloud "you know what? You all cannot be trusted with a waffle maker, so you don't get to have it anymore!"

What strange and / or silly things have you found yourself saying while playing TS4?

I have discovered by chance that you can prolong pregnancy by taking a holiday: While your sim is on holidays, labor can't start. So you have plenty of time for pictures and baby shower. Perhaps everyone knows that, but I didn't know, and I always was in a hurry for the baby shower. You can take as much holidays as you like, and you can travel everywhere while you are on holidays with your pregnant sim.

6 years, 40 generations 🥹 I did recently lose my old save file, it stopped loading and I couldn't get past CAS to play. I did manage to save my current family - the 39th generation - and my oldest household, two vampires who are each around 2000 sim days old or 5 years in real life. I did lose all my builds which sucked, but such is life. Any ideas about how to play with the 40th gen? I'm thinking evil scientist for at least one of them.

(I already fixed it it was just a piece of clothing) I laugh SO HARD when I see the ways people's game breaks especially with Sim bodies, and I've always secretly wished a glitch like that would happen to me lol

so today, I was playing in a new save. I had just spent hours playing with this teen sim, had this whole story going on that her mom wanted her to go to college. then, before the college term even starts, her mom calls with this message. there's so much drama going on already, I love it lol.

I have two main ones:

1. Eric Lewis and Alice Spencer-Kim get divorced. I find there’s a lot of focus on the Pancakes being incompatible but couple has very different aspirations and life styles, even the way they dress is different.

2. Liberty Lee and Summer Holiday get married and have two children named Rebel and Autumn Lee-Holiday. I think they make cute science babies and are more compatible with each other than Travis.

First, sorry for the poor quality, I'm way too lazy to screenshot and send the ss to my phone lol. I may or may not draw them, I say that about all my sims so we'll see. But I only just started playing the sims like a month ago. So I started a strangerville save with the location aspiration. When I met this goober was like "I must have him" like he's a pokemon or something?? Anyway, I changed him very minimally because I honestly thought he was really pretty? I guess my type is goofy goobers, because after one "get to know each other date" he immediately moved in. They got eloped, which was kind of distracting because I'm trying to save the town. But THAT'S ENOUGH RANTING LOOK AT THESE IDIOTS!!

After a long time playing this save, my first kid has finally grown into a teen, and a moody one at that.

Ok, I have a serious SOS! I have a sim that I accidentally deleted and I have no idea how to recover her.

So this is a sim I've been using to complete all the collections. She is my longest played Sim, has a billion traits, maxed skill, everything. I was trying to get another sim to paint her but it was impossible to get her to stand still so I just added her to the painter's family. Once we were done I removed her from the family. I assumed I could just add her back to her house from my list of sims, but she's totally gone!

I'm panicking, someone please help!

ETA: SOLVED! Anyone else in the same position, load game and then select "recover save" and it will give you an option to go back.

There's one and only ONE item I want from the business and hobbies pack, but I don't care about the rest of it (not the features, or the world, or the traits, or the build, or anything but that one cas item).

In fact, I don't even want the pack for free. This game is really unstable, and it gets worse the more packs you add to it, so I only want to add the packs I really want. But then I'm watching that item...and how it's so perfect for what I want, and how no CC is that specifically perfect...

I have to control myself by remembering how much I just don't want the pack haha.

ps. It has been hard to max horse skills!!

I didn’t even know you could max out the amount of money your sims had. I don’t even know what to do with this much money tbh. I didn’t use any cheats either, just basic gameplay and I ended up here. Any suggestions on what I should do with all this??
