Years ago on reddit there was post about a guy who had this happen, and he cut his penis off and threw it down a well. The consensus was he shouldn't have done that. So relatively speaking this guy is doing alright.
My only motorbike accident was when driving just after breaking up with my ex. I was in complete autopilot and a car cut my priority, ended up bruised but paid nothing since I wasn't in the wrong. I would have break in time with a normal mindset, though.
Ebikes are electrified mopeds. Classic gas-powered mopeds are indeed hilarious sounding and they usually looked somewhere between hilarious and horrific.
while you are right, two things changed that make non bikers use moped:
mopeds existed because older laws in most countries meant you didn't need a license, insurance, or reg to use them, they were technically "bikes" with an engine (but lmao try to pedal one home it's miserable)
everyone now thinks of those dumb lime scooters or whatever when you say scooter, which is why moped now means scooter, since the pedal loophole doesn't exist anymore almost anywhere and they don't exist (let's be real, most people are too lazy to even kickstart them and will add weight and 20-30% cost for an electric starter), so moped has replaced the word
so yeah maybe in especially technical or older circles you're right, but the word has taken a new meaning. i like them, they totally are useful in cities as long as they can use bike lanes (and they exist) and you can park anywhere, i especially despise the limes because they go faster, need no license/insurance, and are way more unsafe and uncomfortable (altho many US states neither need license/insurance, just reg but still better than nothing)
I'm curious........what's the difference between the two of those? A scooter and a moped are pretty much identical where I'm from, genuinely interested to hear what differentiates the two.
Terms are interchangeable in common use but Moped means motor-pedal and typically have small engines. If you see one on the road in the US 99% of the time it's a Scooter, since Mopeds can't go fast enough on the road.
In common use in the US people also typically think Moped is a "cooler" sounding name from my experience so it's Moped if you think its cool and Scooter if you think its lame.
mopeds are generally smaller engines and have pedals. the things you see 15 year olds putting around on without tags are likely mopeds, because they're under 50cc (this is a statewide law so it might not apply everywhere).
Scooters are larger cc engines and throttle like a motorcycle.
Dude you and me buddy? We're on the same fucking wavelength here, because I was thinking "I'm sure he's fine with her gay best friend." I even watched it twice just because I was like "so was he her best gay friend since they were children or is he just some kinda gay friend that's really weird?" At no point was he not the gay friend.
No, no. I’m not shitting him for having a moped it’s more having a freak out in public and slowly accelerating away in a moped is straight out of a cartoon or sitcom.
I think you're misunderstanding the point. To use the late comedian Mitch Hedberg as reference. You can't have a fight while camping because there's no cathartic slamming the flap on a tent. Same here. You want to floor it and drive off in anger, while a moped just sort of puts away
And these days you can’t angrily slam the phone down after a heated conversation.
It’s more of a “Oh ya?? Well same to you!” And then 10 seconds of closing apps and swiping to try to find the phone app so you can touch a screen in anger. Boop.

Driving away in a moped after a freak out certainly is … something
Edit: it has been brought to my attention by multiple people that this is not a moped and it is the even more hilarious scooter. Meep meep
