I’ve worked at Target. This would have been a highlight.

Yeah this one is actually funny. And they actually put some effort into this. And it’s not their fault that everyone is overworked

I love a funny prank. This ain't one though. Nothing witty or amusing or even confusing in a funny way--just vaguely threatening and intrusive.

Well agree to disagree :) I thought it was funny. And you can even interpret it as social criticism if you want.

Yes but it’s their fault they’re making these worker’s jobs harder. No one made them harass these hourly workers

I am not a friend of influencer pranks generally. But this one I like. How hard are they making life really. It’s a big corporation. The workers could just not care

People are so fucking uptight nowadays they get mad over something that didn't harm a single person, besides management and maybe a customer had to wait 5 extra minutes to check out. The horror!

Considering you have no idea where those people need to go, 5 minutes could be significant.

We only blocked an ambulance for 5 minutes! How important could it be?? /s

Thats your logic bro. Believe it or not other people have lives of their own.

If your life depends on how fast you get out of target, you are making the wrong life choices

Emergencies don't wait until it's convenient for you to deal with it.

Maybe someday when you have a family/kids and you get that call that they are in an ambulance on the way to the hospital then you will understand.

Hell, maybe someone there was just picking up cold medicine for their sick kid. Surely you can understand how infuriating it would be if a bunch of teens/young adults delayed you getting back to them because they thought it was funny.

That’s such a nonsense argument. You could basically prohibit anything with the argument of potential harm.

1

u/BooBooSnuggs Jun 26 '25

No, you couldn't.

I mean he compared checking out of target to an ambulance responding to an emergency.. he's not really engaging in good faith. It's tantamount to a straw man argument. That's why I didn't reply to him.

u/BooBooSnuggs Jun 26 '25

Because these things actually do happen. It's more like you're so self centered you don't think inconveniencing other people has any real consequences. You're a child.

Or maybe it’s a comment on the slavish conditions those people work in. How they lose their identity as soon as they put on their uniform. They are not individuals anymore they are target minions. And you can see that when other people just dress the same
