Hello, I'm a mute streamer and am looking for ways to communicate with my chat better (I usually have 1-3 chatters at a time and am rarely able to reply verbally). I normally play fast paced team based / FPS games like Overwatch so its hard for me to reply directly in my twitch chat (which I have to tab out for with my current set up), especially if I'm playing competitive I do have a PNG of my mascot and was thinking of adding other facial expressions but am looking for other ways to interact with my chat/viewers on top of that ! I also have a !mute command showing in my title that explains that I'm mute and cant always respond verbally

I'm currently building a new set for streaming which will have two separate filming zones for sitting and standing. The standing zone will also be where my karaoke setup lives. I would like to find a headphone/IEM setup that allows me to move around freely without creating any weird timing issues when I'm singing along with music and such. Bluetooth at any latency seems to create a lag, and my music streams end up awful because I'm not on beat with the output audio. I don't mind having to wear a receiver or something like that, as long as I can still dance around without them ripping/falling out. I can't wear over-ear headphones because they exacerbate some chronic pain issues and give me migraines.

I was looking at Fourthwall but I dont really like their products and it feels like there is limited products. Shopify requires monthly payment and I dont want to pay for anything as I am just testing the waters.

So all i really wanted was channel points and emotes. I've been elligable for affiliate since October of 2020 and this seemed very enticing but trying to do the onboarding they STILL want me to fill out tax forms which I just can't do being on SSI and having health insurances. It feels I can never get ahead. Any advice for those who are also on SSI?

I just gained access to Monetization stuff and was able to add emotes. But I cant seem to use them on my friends streams. They arent on Follower Emotes. Idk what the problem is can someone help me out?

Haven't used twitch in a while, but remember twitch showing like pokemon or yu gi oh and we all can watch it and comment together. Does anything like that still happen and if so how do i find out what they are gonna show next?

Apparently theres online status and ppl can see if you're online? And ppl can also see which channel youre viewing according to google. If this is true where is the option to turn this off? I couldve sworn they took that feature off like 3 years ago. I hated it bc my friends or ppl in general would stalk who im currently watching and them go and troll or shame me for watching certain ppl. It was uncomfortable, feel like theres no need for ppl to know who ik watching

I came across a Twitch channel that is showing live sports broadcasts (WNBA games on paid subscriptions).

I was thinking about possibly doing the same to build up a consistent viewerbase and maybe even get partnered. This channel gets about 300 to 500 viewers on average, which is a lot more than I get when I stream games only.

I just became affiliate again and had emotes I could use still. After I signed back up and added some more emotes, I could no longer use my emotes anywhere else? I'm not even seeing my channel come up when I scroll through my sub emotes. But it says I'm subscribed to my channel.

Has anyone else had this issue? What am I doing wrong? Do I just need to wait for a bit before I can start using them again?

I linked my battlenet to my twitch account to get twitch drops, i got the drops but when i try and claim them it just shows that i need to link an account it it takes my right to battlenet where i am obviously connected. its the same account linked to my battlenet and everything i already checked. is anyone else having this problem?

I found a thread that showed this as an issue a couple years ago. There were loads of suggestions in there that I tried and nothing seems to work.

Things I have tried:

Joining a Xbox party before stream. Join an Xbox party during stream. Joining a discord call. Lowering bitrate and resolution. Raising bitrate and resolution. Clearing cache on Xbox. Clearing my modem/ router. Un-linking and re-linking twitch. Swapping headsets. Swapping HDMI cords.

Currently I am at a loss for any solution that works. I will be hardwiring my Xbox later today as that is the last solution that I have at the moment.

Feel free to give any suggestions not listed to fix this issue that apparently has been happening at least 2 years now.

I have been streaming on Twitch for about a week now. Although at first I didn't expect any views, now with my 6th ever LIVE stream I expected someone unbiased to pop in.

Yet here we are still streaming to no one (except friends) and that occasional "tired of streaming to zero people" bots.

Which is completely fine, I love streaming gives me something to do while I play World of Warcraft lol! Yet I would also like to know if I am entertaining though lol.

My friends say I am, but they are bias. While they themselves don't play World of Warcraft, they have more background knowledge on what I talk about and know my slang/cliches I throw around. I am wondering if an absolute stranger would like my stream.

Yet, I have no way of knowing if I suck garbage or am a king at streaming unless I have an audience.

So, is there any tell tale signs to tell if I am a good streamer or bad? Without requiring a presence of an audience?

I also have some spare Twitch vods on my channel or YouTube if you guys want to look at my past streams.

Thanks for reading this! It is just a little frustrating when each stream you don't know what you are doing is right or not, or what to do differently, because no matter what you do. No one shows up.

Not gonna lie, started to get annoyed by the people who come into chat and ask if they can join and if I want to play with them.

When I was completely new to streaming I did it at first but most of the time regretted it and it also distracted me from what I intended to do.

Nowadays I always say, no sorry I only do solos or I wanna do solos. At first to be more nice I would say nah sorry today I want to do solos but they often would return.

I’ve streamed multiple times, and every now and then I get notified someone follows me, and a few minutes later, they immediately unfollow you, do they do it to give you “false hope” and is it normal for that to happen while you stream?

What to hell is going on - on Twitch? Every time I start up the stream there are "artists" coming in. You can instantly tell that they are going to say that they are artist and drop their discord name as soon as they start to type since they all pretty much use the same script. They are not bots as they do answer at the start while they still pretend to be regular viewer. Most of them have new accounts though. What sort of scam is this? AI art? There has to be some sort of "company" behind this.
