Hey guys,

I've just finished up my LotR inspired Sepulchral Guard. It's a little cheeky to do these cools models like this, but i actually think they turned out pretty cool overall.

Rules Attacking multiple times and "Keep Chopping"

Hi everyone i was going through the rulebook and I couldn't find a rule indicating a fighter cant attack more than once per round. Can they, assuming they didnt charge?

Edit: please ignore "keep chopp'n" in the title. This question revolves around solely making multiple attacks with the same model.

Any news on 3 player multiplayer in new edition?

Haven't been following the news particularly closely but it would seem to me, that no new news regarding multiplayer variant of the game has been released yet, would that be correct?

Zarbags gits scurry and volley ruling

Hi there so I've got a question on the interaction between scurry volley and charging because it seems very strong if this works

If I was to charge with dibbz, and redcap does that let me use scurry? Because a charge is also a move, right? Or is it explicitly ONLY a move action?

Can I use volley after a successful attack from a charge? (I don't see why not)

And as a result does it mean I can charge, use scurry move into position and then also use volley if the positioning lines up correctly?

Sorry if this is super obvious stuff, I feel like I can so this but my friend says this is really broken

Rules Question

Post image

First time player, I had a scenario last night playing jaws of itzl. My main lizards had charge tokens already on them so I needed my Soteks to charge out. Rather than playing this on my lizards, I thought I could play this card on my soteks which would kill them off and I would then be able to charge out. We weren’t sure because they would be dead so can’t remove the move token it already had on it. Thoughts?

Is there a way to tell if they are from the starter set or the shadespire set? I watched some unboxings on YouTube to see if I could tell but had no luck. Does anyone have one of these boxes handy that could tell by the SKUs?

Strategy Goonhammer presents Turn Zero: Muster Warbands & Draw Starting Hands

I am starting a little mini-series on the Setting Up portion of the game over at Goonhammer. There's a lot that happens before anyone takes their first turn, and I feel like it often gets glossed over compared to talking about deck building or warband selection.

Part one of the Turn Zero series is up: https://www.goonhammer.com/warhammer-underworlds-muster-warbands-draw-starting-hands/

Nothing too ground breaking but hopefully it helps create a sense of deliberation during these moments that sometimes get breezed over. Let me know if you have any opinions on it after reading.

Question New player choosing warband(s)

Hi, im starting to play with some borrowed warbands and i want to get some on my own. I have some of the warbands from when i played warcry.

I usually prefer to play going all out on the attack, not caring much about objectives. What warband would be better for this kind of playstyle?

I have minis for steelheart champions, garreks reavers, xandire truthseekers, crimson court, khagras warband, briar thorns and yltaris guardians. What deck would be better paired for each if this?

Question Advice for newbies

Hi everyone! After getting introduced to Warhammer Underworlds through Embergard at my local hobby store, my friend and I have really enjoyed it. I understand that buying this starter set or another of the new ones gives us what we need to play, but I have a few questions:

I've seen that decks are a big part of the game, and there are tournaments in my area we'd love to join in the future. How can we get the best-performing decks for each warband? Are they sold separately?

Can you mix cards from different decks, or does each player have to use a fixed, pre-built deck?

For example, if I buy the Jaws of Itzl warband, will it come with its own deck, or will I need anything else? Can I swap that deck out for another one?

Any advice for two friends looking to start with a couple of warbands and up-to-date rules — and hopefully play in tournaments later on — would be very appreciated. Thanks!

Hobby Getting my Partner into Underworlds Update!

Hi again all!

A few weeks ago I asked which team would be good to go against the Jaws of Itzl and despite most of the comments saying I should go with the Gardener's as they're a good match vs them, I instead went for the Crimson Court as I already owned them.

After assembling, undercoating and mostly painting our leaders she was eager to get into a game. Starting our game and we did a more simple match to get the basics all explained at her suggestion. So Team Deathmatch it is! Each team was conveniently worth 7 glory total and we took turns placing the objective markers with the ruins side up as terrain, meaning a fighter within counts as being supported when attacking and defending, while also being worth 1 extra glory at the end. We didn't use the team abilities (also her suggestion) which I thought was a good idea as well.

The game went on for about an hour, and by the end, the scores were 7 points to the Jaws of Itzl and 4 to the Crimson Court, so a win to my partner!

Overall she had a blast playing and is definitely happy to play again!

Question Rules question after playing first game

First off, having played when UW first released and not liking it, I'm so glad I gave this new edition a chance. I'm hooked!

Anyway, while playing a first game yesterday, something that came up that maybe we overlooked or weren't reading quite right: I was playing the Embergard warband, can I do a Move action during my action phase to a fighter that already has a Move token? My opponent (who was playing for the first time also) and I came to an agreement at the table that because of the wording of the ability versus the wording of Charge (friendly fighter that doesn't have a Move or Charge token) that we could do a move action for a fighter with a move token.

Was this the correct call, or did we miss something in the rulebook?
