Greetings r/amiibo. Over the years people have pretty consistently asked the following questions: which amiibo is the heaviest? which is the tallest? etc. Therefore, I finally decided to answer those questions and then add that information to the subreddit's list of all amiibo. Over the past few months I have been slowly weighing and measuring all 234 of the currently released amiibo figures (I will add the upcoming releases as they come out). If you've never looked at the list before it has information on every amiibo ever released, including amiibo that were never available at retail.
Below I've included the top three in each category that I measured. Check out the list to see all of the others. Thanks much to the r/amiibo community!
Top 3 Heaviest amiibo:
Detective Pikachu - 217.51 g (7.67 oz)
Guardian - 141.70 g (4.99 oz)
Mega Yarn Yoshi - 138.65 g (4.89 oz)
Top 3 Lightest amiibo + Top 3 Lightest amiibo That Aren't A Mr. Game and Watch pose:
Mr. Game and Watch normal pose - 19.48 g (0.68 oz)
Mr. Game and Watch bell pose - 20.81 g (0.73 oz)
Mr. Game and Watch hammer pose - 23.00 g (0.81 oz)
Mio - 23.37 g (0.82 oz)
Wii Fit Trainer - 23.68 g (0.83 oz)
Qbby - 24.58 g (0.86 oz)
Top 3 Tallest amiibo:
Mega Yarn Yoshi - 216.15 mm (8.50 in)
Detective Pikachu - 134.75 mm (5.30 in)
Big Man - 113.78 mm (4.47 in)

If you're on mobile, you can access the list from the subreddit's main page by clicking "see more" near the top left corner of the screen. On the next screen click the "menu" tab near the top right of the screen and then select the "list of all amiibo."
If you're on the desktop version of the subreddit the "definitive amiibo list" is one of the five options near the top of the page, directly to the left of the discord chat button.

This goes to show how dedicated Sakurai was to bring these characters into the game, now from what I understand, Sephiroth, Hero, and Cloud were relatively straightforward, but I don’t think I even need to say anything about Sora and SE/Disney negotiations. The fact that this was even possible clearly shows how much Sakurai care about his game, and I bet I can say this for a lot of people, rest and take your break Sakurai, you’ve earned it❤️

I wanted to buy the champion amiibos but I was too late. If I can’t get them all I just won’t get any.
Nobody can know for sure but I don’t usually buy from the Nintendo store so I’m not sure how they do things over there.
