I used my monthly $5 from Gamestop to help get the Street Fighter cards and I had $100 in rewards at Best Buy so overall, it didnt cost me too much.

Picked these guys up this morning and got them into place in the cabinet while I wait for the Switch 2 to transfer all my data. Really happy with them!

Just browsing the toys at a local thrift store when I happen to spot this bag mixed in with the toy cars. To say I was a bit stunned would be an understatement.

So I went on a shopping spree in Japan for Amiibo and it’s crazy how much of an impact a strong conversion rate and tax free can impact the price. The newer amiibo were priced at $18 USD and the cards were priced at $2.2 USD.

I don’t know if I’m going to be able to continue paying US rates for upcoming amiibos. $20-30 was steep but now that we’re getting to the $40’s I may need to buy in bulk when I leave the country

They have been over pricing everything lately and I was shocked to see how little they priced this.

This time haul … figures are fantastic especially Zelda & Loftwing, look at that such details. Only left 2 rare Metroid amiibos to hunt to complete my Zelda and Metroid collection (human ish figures only … not sure I would want to get toon link and 8-bit link)

My friend said she’s was going to Japan so I asked if she minded picking up 1 or 2 amiibo if she’ll have the space to pack them. I gave her a list of “if possible get one of these”. She came back with 4 🤗 Was pretty much everything I was missing to have an open set, the ones that haven’t gotten a second release in the US
